Iam sorry to dissapoint you , Germany won it in 1990 based on having the most hunger , yet alone frustration of losing in the finals in '82' and '86' , there next appearance which was '90' was well earned ! ---  about 1954 , germany learned a valuable lesson from hungry at the start of that tournament , then they played the cinderella role in the last final match with a great comeback style -- You learn from your mistakes my good friend , so give the germans there due,even if you dont like them
