  • The book is absolutely amazing and I believe the movie did it justice! Great performances by everyone (Cruise, Pitt and Dunst in particular). I felt the actors and movie makers really captured the essence of the book as well as added to it :).

  • Lestat is more of a douche in this movie then in Queen Of the Damned

  • i so love this book! the vampire chronicles rock!

  • screw twilight thats a movie for just losers

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, it was good, i guess. If you want to see an awesome vampire movie, you should check out Twilight!

  • @MultiFuckballs ha such a funny joke i forgot to laugh

  • @MultiFuckballs check out twilight ? go fuck yourself, you mean. twilight is for weak cunts !

  • @TheDreamerSy it only has two partially scenes with women shown partially naked and another scene with a woman fully naked. So it kinda is nude scenes....

  • HELLL YEAAAAA THIIIIIIIIIS IS A FREAKING MOVIE ABOUT VAMPIRES (not twilight -.-)

  • Best Vampire Movie Ever!!

  • amazing movie!

  • Haha It's funny how everyone is in irritation because of the comparisons with Twilight, yet they're making comparisons by proving their points. Ugh.

Stop comparing, it shouldn't even be compared.

  • good actors, best story, awesome movie

  • Back when vampires weren't sissys

  • stop talking about Twilight loser lames.

  • well at least these vampires don,t sparkle can u image if Lestat or Louie sparkle that would make this strange

  • Ah the best vampire movie ever. Luis and Lestat would make Edward Cullen their bitch!

  • I just finished watching this yesterday although there are nude scenes i love it! It's my favorite vampire movie!

  • @TheEternityMagic what do u mean by "although there are nude scenes"?

how can a movie be bad bc of the movie scenes??

  • Fantastic acting by everybody here!

  • This is one of the best horror films!

  • The top Vampire movies three are Interview with a Vampire, Nosferatu, and Fright Night.

  • Lestat is a true vampire.

  • Best Vampire movie ever!

  • why did river have to die !

  • Kristen dunst was cute kid in 1994 nd then she is a solid actress in spiderman series. WoW luv her

  • @kieran1990able what about in Melancholia?? shes a fucking good actress

  • Ive seen this movie more times than i can count.

..its so beautifully done..amazing! Brad is always incredible but i have to say i dont think Tom gets enough credit for his portrail of Lestat..hes so brilliant in this movie.

  • Great performances by Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.

  • gggsg sflsfsfsf sfsjfwow alo ?

  • wow, there are a lot of famous people in this

  • OMG WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?????

  • anne rice the best vampire author ever!

  • claudia is really evil

  • Okay I've been a fan of this movie since I was little, but I never saw the trailer before, so while I knew a lot of the actors, I honestly had no idea that Antonio Bendaras played Armand. My mind's kinda blown right now.

  • "You're a vampire, who never knew what life was until it ran out in a red gush over your lips."

God DAMMIT! why wasn't that line in the movie!!! not fair!

  • damn brad pitt looks sexy as hell as a vampire:)

  • Im trying to choose who is better, Tom Cruise Or Brad Pitt

  • looks very interesting

  • I'm in the middle of reading the book, and this looks soo much different lol

  • Proper vampires <3

  • i think tom cruise looks weird with blond hair

  • I absolutely ADORE Rice's books & movies, but, the ONLY thing that bothered me a bit was who they picked to play Armand. I mean, of course I love Antonio Banderas as much as the next girl, he's AMAZING. However, in the book Armand's character is basically the opposite of Antonio (physically wise). He's 17-ish, pale, auburn haired & of Russian decent. I was kinda looking forward to that but Antonio is stunning!

  • Shit son if i want a vampire movie this is the one, Fucking Tom Cruise and Braid Pit? FUCK YES!

  • i always saw claudia and louies relationship as something more than father and daughter..

  • @holliee74 yeah, it is. Since she's pretty much a women in a girl's body. She ends up falling in love with him

  • i love you luie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X|||D

  • This is a very good vampire movie ever since 30 days of night unlike these faggy

    twilight movies that suck ass..

  • I'm a fan of Anne Rice AND Stephanie Meyer... Come on people, they have totally different styles of writing! Anne Rice writes amazing stories of the typical vampire. Stephanie Meyer just changed it up a little bit and made vampires different. Its like comparing Harry Potter to Edward Cullen. They're two totally different characters but you can appreciate their differences. Why fight over this nonsense? If you like it, fine. If you don't, fine. Do something else with your time.

  • @singin4BillyG It is most certinally NOT like comparing Harry to Edward, because they are different species. If you are going to compare him, compare him to a real vampire such as Lestat. The reason people dislike Twilight so much is because Stephanie Meyer butchered the theme of vampires. Ever wonder why everyone except her writes them to be a certain way? Oh that's right, because thats what vampires ARE! Not some sparkling retarded emo wannabee control freak fairy.

  • @DiReplay Some research suggests that the idea of vampires originated with a disease thousands of years ago. Amazing that someone thought "oh, maybe they have fangs and they can be killed with garlic" and then books were written about the same ideas. Now we have someone saying "maybe they're misunderstood and some didn't want to be killers." If not for a deadly illness or a decaying body we wouldn't have even made it this far into our vampire world. Heaven forbid it changes a little over time.

  • @DiReplay Hold on, "vampires ARE"? It's fiction! lol I'm not in any way saying that one is better than the other, I'm only saying that I choose to like both. People miss that Twilight does have so called "real" vampires in it. There is a ton of reference to the typical vampire that would kill people (Volturi for instance) but the Cullens feel human emotion and don't want to be so typical. Stephanie has been the only one to change it up so much, but she sure has a hefty pay check for doing so.

  • @singin4BillyG The reason she was the only one to "change it up" is because everyone else was basing their concept of vampires on the "real" legends of vampires. Vampires being real is up for debate. Just like ghosts among other things.

  • @DiReplay Hence, the other writers aren't being bold enough to go against the norm. :P How else can new ideas progress if one is fearful of biased reasoning? When those sick people died and their bodies weren't decaying properly, some people probably thought it to be an insult to come up with the whole legend of vampires. Someone stepped up against the crowd and did something different- they made the existance of vampires seem real. Most writers begin there also.

  • @DiReplay Every book is going to be a little different as new ideas come about. Regardless, there's nothing wrong with this movie or Anne Rice's depiction of vampires. I never meant to argue over silly philosophy.

  • @singin4BillyG It's not philosophy. It's studying the occult. If someone decided a zombie should sparkle would you just go along with that? Or a ghoul? These things are all part of legend and lore. All based off of real stories. If they are real or not is up for debate, but her making vampires so radically different...no. I wouldn't have minded if she made up some name for them other than vampires and made her own sort of creature. But calling them a vampire? No.

  • @DiReplay Philosophy: A set of views and theories; study of general problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge and reason. It is indeed a philosophy. I only call it "silly" because there is no way to find a conclusion in our debate. Just because you think you're right doesn't mean that someone else wont have a different opinion. And same goes for me. I could understand keeping this going if I hated Rice's work, but I like BOTH authors- so why are you defending Rice still?

  • @DiReplay The only reason I even put up my first post was because I was tired of people comparing this story to Twilight. I was actually against the Twilight fans even though I am one myself. Its ridiculous to compare them when they're so different. You're right, the Cullens are very different and maybe they should even be considered as a different type of creature. The only reason they weren't was because of the reference to the typical vampire in the story.

  • @singin4BillyG when people stop complaining about twilight it will stop being so around and famous

  • @DiReplay You wouldn't know they were "good" without the "bad" (or typical). So in a way I've been on your side all along- this debate is going nowhere. lol I find your reasoning and anime/music hobby fascinating. I'm also really not trying to be argumentative- its a waste of time. I'm raising the white flag, hun. Thanks for the fun debate though. :P

  • @singin4BillyG Who said I was being argumentative? Notice I kept composure unlike some kids on here who would have said "TWILITE FKN SUX DONKY DIX AND TEH VAMPS ARENT REALZ IN ITS!!!11!11!!!"

Kids like that annoy me. -.-"

  • OMFG IS THAT CARLISLE FROM TWILIGHT THE GUY IN THE BLONDE HAIR ?!?!?!

  • @diamonds454 NO, Carlisle is a wegetarian yes? And that "blonde guy" definitely not. He is a vampire and he drinks HUMAN blood. He is a monster, he kills people, and that's cool, because he is a real vampire not samekind of sparkling fairy...

  • i only love the twilight book but this vampiremovie is the best ever made

guys so what if people love twiligth or this we're all vampirelovers

  • Brad Pitt...Mmmmm

  • "I want some more" chillsright there

  • response: and i hate Twilight lovers...making a movie of twilight novel just ruined the book... unlike HP

  • omg! I love this movie!!!!! Brad Pitt is soooo hot! [:x]

  • Anne Rice is an excellent writer!

  • Hot damn! This was where Brad Pitt was hot!

  • amazing film, it was my first "R" rated film I got to see in the theatre, my parents knew I was a big Anne Rice fan, and took me to see it. It did not disappoint.

  • @teamedward4everx you obviously have absolutely NO good taste. If you say twilight is the best vampire movie out there then that makes you a vampire HATER. Honestly, what a horrible insult on insisting twilight might even qualify in the same league as interview with a vampire.

  • @out2of2this2world urm excuse me but av seen "interview with a vampire", but i still know "Twilight" is the best vampire movie ever, you have no gud taste :P

  • Love this movie

    Great trailor vid!

    Loved it, faved also :)

  • Lestat is the best vampire ever!

  • Darn, I hate Twilight! Why watch a movie about some dumb emo chick and a Gary Stu vampire when you can watch some evil eight year old kill her own maker? If a Twilight fan can answer that question realistically then I'll shut up about how dumb it is as a series. Plus, Stephenie Meyers copied Anne Rice, L.J Smith, and several other hardworking vamp authors. Why did she get famous? She stole other authors' ideas and claimed them to be her own. WTH?

  • Why this video is response for Twilight trailer? Don't compare Interview with this shit for stupid teenagers. Twilight sucks! The worst book/movie I've ever seen.

  • lol that movie was rape but if i saw this commercial i wouldve thought it blowed

  • YES! SCREW TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lurverach screw you, twilight hater

  • @lurverach

    lol yeh!

  • Screw Twilight if you want to see a vampire film full of romance, passion and danger see this. In my book by far the best vampire film ever. I would like to say the same about the books to.

  • @thesacredyew Blade is good too.

  • @thesacredyew I have only read "memnoch the devil" and it was awesome. not sure bout the rest though.

  • @LoserJ7 In my oppion the first three books were the best, "Interview With The Vampire," "The Vampire Lestat," and "The Queen Of The Damned," The film Queen Of The Damned wasn't bad but I would watch that before reading the book because it isn't a patch on the book. And if you're a fan of the books like I am you will probably lend up shaking your head at the film. "Interview With The Vampire," kept pretty close to the book though apart from the ending, but I liked the ending of the film.

  • now i want to go watch it

  • I Love This Movie Soooo Much!!!! <3333

  • a really good movie ;)
