My fiesta is like this all the time just now, such a pain in the mornings. I been starting mines without the choke recently as I am so frightened I flood it.

hi realcrank , this type of fiesta does have a manual choke , my girlfriend and i went to look at a 1990 fiesta 1.1 yesterday , the owner was at work but her young daughter was there to show us round the car , unfortunatly she couldnt drive so my girlfriend had to get it out of the garage , we both spotted the manual choke but she decided to try and start it without using it....WOW....it took ages to start , it had been standing for 3 days and i very very hard to get started.

shes actually trying to start it from cold without using any choke.....my girlfriend sometimes trys to start her old mini without the choke and it acts similar to this fiesta

I don't know if these types of fiesta have a manual choke...BTW, a video of cranking your girlfriend's mini could be great (only a tip for you:-)
