If anything, I think he didn't underestimate JDS's hands at all, otherwise he would've pressured him, knowing that his cardio was better. I think it's just that JDS wanted it more and landed a punch at the right time. I don't think cain did anything wrong except not being as hungry

The thing is, I called this from the beginning. All this BS hype that Cain is so powerful, his cardio is so good. None of that matters if you can't take a punch. We already knew that Cain's chin was suspect from the Kongo fight. JDS has much better hands than Kongo so it was really a foregone conclusion in my mind and it turns out I was 100% correct.
