I dislike google gathering data, but somehow I think bing will eventually do the same. Google does have more tools, but bing is catching up.

Also note that Google gets paid by the arabs (UAE) and China so really the informmation it provides is biased. If for instance you use Google map and search for Persian Gulf you are likely to get Islamic gulf or arabo-persian gulf both of which dont exist in reality and are made up by Google. Google also collects data on what sites you access, and also collects data taht could potentially be used against you in the future if you do cross paths with Google. I certainly dont trust Schmidt's google

I disagree. Bing is a great website. Unlike Google Bing doesnt play politics, doesnt censor, and is not a corporate collector of information. Google has some political interests that make it less than suitable. I certainly like to Bing.

Unfortunately, four months later your words flew back at you. lol. In apple's soon to come out iphone OS 4.0, apple is seriously considering to make bing their main search engine. I guess even apple realized how good it improved. The maps especially for phones is amazing. Searching businesses etc has never been easier.

This is a prime example of "digitally clueless". This is the type of person that thinks the browser is the "internets". Bing is only good for one thing keeping Google on their toes, and Google just blew them out of the water with Google Goggles. Not to mention Google realtime search.
