  • normie could flog his arse

  • Ron Casey's a racist prick, but was he really all for a republic? He has some redeeming features I guess.

  • to hell with the criminal royals and thir drug peddaling and Eugenics and what they did to beautiful Dianna ; we want a republic now!

  • Come next monday nite rematch coming up, Rons going for 2 from 2

  • lol

  • Ron Casey is a nasty old prick. Normie should have smashed him to a pulp.

  • @dariowestern

Maybe they should have both head butted each other into oblivion.

  • no one was right but casey is an opionated little 'never-was' pig of a man and normie is a turncoat sell-out so....

  • Us Casey's have some fiery blood in us, that's for sure

  • At the time I was pissed off with 'Won Casey' over this but having seen the Coles add Normie took part in, I now wish Won had sunk the slipper as well!!!

  • no added HOARMOANS SELL OUT !

  • I say it was a fair fight. No added Hormones. :D

  • I don't like Ron but after seeing Normies appalling Coles advert I kinda wish Ron had got a few more punches in.

  • The taste of Aussie beef really does take over you

  • Ron casey what a legend. Doesn't matter who was right or wrong, the guy challenged him physically and got smashed lol. jawed him

  • Ron Casey should have stuck it out with only doing Sport Reporting on Channel 9.

When it came to current affairs, politics and multi-cultural opinion he did not have an idea of what he was really talking about. His arrogance is what undone him in his later years in Television Media. He also lost a lot of respect from many other Media Personalities in the industry.

  • This fuckin' rocked, hahahaha. I wish TV was still like this.

  • the 2 should have been left to punch each other out like steve headbutt bowden and mark 2 black eyes broadhurst were alloud to do.

  • I was viewing this at the time and remember calling to my wife saying' '' watch this there's going to be a punch up ''. Casey was acting like a fool, however even fools have a right their opinion. Normie Rowe got out of his chair and physically challenged Casey who has every right to defend himself. By far the worst behaved was Ray Martin who could see it coming but just sat there smiling smugly and loving every minute. It made headline news and lifted his ratings. Good one Ray !

  • @2004DAZZA Could'nt agree more, Ray Martin sat smiling,slightly

amused in fact. Normie Rowe showed genuine emotion by contrast smarmy, smug Martin was disingenuous at best, unprofessional at worst.

  • @msconfabulate1 It's a fitting punishment for that tragic new coles ad

  • its easy to see that Ron Casey, hasn't put his life on the line for his country, i have nt either , but my father did in ww2 and they got a heros welcome when they got home

the Vietnam vets were treated like shit and the Government of then should have felt like dogs .

Just remember if it wasnt for the Brits and Yanks we'd be talking Japanese right now .

Anyone who puts their life on the line should be shown the utmost respect and in the case of vietnam vets they had no choice .

  • @Nev1957 Very good comment. My Father was in Darwin in WW2 and my brother was called up for National Service. he came out of the army an alcoholic and still is and there was no help for him then and there is still no help for him now. They were the forgotten heros and Ron Casey has a loud mouth. And yes you're right on the other point about speaking Japanese. Think I'd rather commit suicide than speak like that.

  • @Nev1957 Oh you have proof of a Japanese plan to invade Australia, do you? The only reason they attacked us was because we were attacking them, and the only reason we were attacking them was to protect Imperial holdings (the occupied territories) of Britain and the USA. Don't try and make out like we champions, less than 20 years later Australian soldiers landed in Malaysia and held a village full of civilians to ransom to make the Malaysian government, democratically elected, step down.

  • what year did this happen?

, I remember it on the telly

  • @taipan342 1991

  • @dcc1980 thanks

  • Love you Ron.......Your the GREATEST.........The best piece of Australian Televission

  • I remember watching this over lunch; totally unexpected and live. The resulting ad break went for about 5 mins. What a classic

  • loved the way everyone just sat there and did nothing

  • I don't agree with Normie's support of ties with Britain, but indeed Casey was behaving like a 'low rat'.
