@ Bob and Strat92. The guitar is a Fender John Jorgenson signature "Hellecaster". Fender made him the "Double Tele" and "Hellecaster". I have one it is a cool guitar. It says Hellecaster on the 12th fret.

Thanks for posting! While I love John's Gypsy jazz work, it's great to hear him play electric. It would be incredible if the Hellecasters would get back together for an album.

I saw John do this song with the Hellecasters in 1999 (in San Diego) and this version is at least as hot as what I saw back then. I tend to think, but have no way to specifically back this up, that this is inspired by Jeff Beck.

I thought John had given up on electric guitar before this...so glad to see/hear that he hasn't! He is a truly great electric guitarist, and acoustic guitarist!
