please don't knock hipster indie rock until you really get a taste. nu rock and progressive rock are awesome genres, yeah, but there is a reason "hipsters" ascribe to specific brands of "artsie-fartsie" bands.

sure sure, I didn't mean to sounds so defensive. Yeah, I agree being avant-garde as part of a trend is stupid, but I don't react well when I feel like hipsters are getting called elitists in a negative connotation.
