What about rights of men which are non-existent in independent India? Women alone are entitled to rights, its seems according to the society and its govt.

498a is seldom filed for the reason for which it was enacted. It is filed by women to cover up her own wrong, to blackmail and extort money,to get easy divorce with quick-buck. It is really surprising that in civic society not only this law exists but being misused by like anything but no attempt is made at least to check the misuse. It is important to note that TADA and POTA (related to terrorist activities) were repealed just after few reports of misuse. Are common man worst than terrorists?
