  • i read this as president of dead children

    and was like wat

  • Bring back Connie Chung !!!! I wonder why FOX didn't pick her up, she is a star.

  • @TheXangoJuice because fox isnt news

  • This was typical Connie Chung, here segments always had more substance than anybody else's but the network brass thought she was too much of a perfectionist and too nervous. She was more than a journalist, she was an artist. This was a great piece, one of my favorites.

  • what happened to connie chung??? she like.. disappeared...

  • Connie where are you??

  • This is the best summary of the good and bad of being a child of a president. The author makes the point that this is not just the children of presidents but also the children of men or women who think that they could or should be presidents. Much could apply to the children of high achievors in the arts or business. Excellent points here.

  • This killing me beucause Chinese copies always sold out. Very interesting articles in news about this book. we want this book because so much also works with our history.

  • Never heard an explanation on the war like this but it makes a lot of sense. I miss Connie Chung. She always went for interesting people and interesting subjects.

  • I liked Connie very much myself, I always thought she was underrated. I wish her show hadn't been cancelled, but that blame can be shared equally.

  • holy crap, i never imagined how many presidents' sons died at young age. GWB is a miracle child.

  • Loved the Tafts. And the Wilson girls. Doug has shown how the political families have served the highest...as well as many who failed miserably. And it is all so very interesting.

  • This is the best short segment on kids of presidents. A lot crammed into a short space. Webb Hayes, son of Rutherford B. Hayes was a surprise to me. Love Amy Carter, Chelsea Clinton and the Bush twins.

  • It is a great book. Made me really think about not so much about how famous parents alter their kids as about how kids deal with having famous parents

  • This book is really good. Doug Wead shows that real history is just as interesting as hollywood!
