Depending on your dorm shape, check the width of your dorm room and bring a 2x6 (or 2) to fit and use as extra shelving. A lot of dorms don't allow extension cords, and they might get confiscated when your room gets closed up for winter break. Also, if you combine stuff with your roommate, bring colored stickers or something to label your items with so you end up taking your own things home. Also, bring a small vacuum, like the dirt devil stick vacuums, so you can vacuum your room.

Yay for another girl horror flick fan :) my fav cat of movies. The scary movies released now a days for the most part are comedies to me. The potential of the story line is fantastic but then the delivery sucks. I find some of the best are from older decades

Havaianas are the best thongs (flip-flops (aussies language)) i have about a bizzillon pairs in every colour. Where i live its really hot so i live in them. :D Some good movie recommendations are 'The Prestige', 'Moulin Rouge', 'Across the Universe', 'Cherrybomb', 'Time Travelers Wife'. Also i recommend the 'Time Travelers Wife' but the book not the movie. I read the book in about 15 hrs over a two day period, i read all through the night until 3:45am. It was worth it, trust. :D

when i went away to study in japan lugging things from home was not an option so i ended up bringing back a bunch of stuff home to canada. lol the only movie i brought and watched soo many times was wall-e ^-^ its relatable across so many different cultures it sure brought me together with my roomates.
