How a bunch of generic rhetoric from a politician. I'm sure you could probably find the same sound bytes from countless conservative politicians if you really wanted to.
All this clip shows you is that conservatives think there are easy answers, quick fixes, there should not be shared sacrifice, we should all run our ACs as much as we want and burn as much fuel as possible.
I cannot vote for this man again. Wall Street sell-out, liar, non-leader and most importantly blame’s everyone else for just about everything. He is nothing but a globalist puppet and will do anything it takes to win an election. Bush was a puppet but Bush stood firm on his beliefs. Obama is all over the place. I am tired of his golfing, flying all over the place on my dime and his wife Moochelle also. I sit here pondering my empty wallet and no vacation and he is living the life.
@dkkght46 Again? I knew what this tard was before he was ever elected. How did I know? I studied what he had done and said before he took office. Oh BTW, I have naked pictures of his mom on my hard drive.
@cpuwrite : I can admit you are right in a certain way but you can still feel that Obama try at least to do the right thing (in a centrist point of view)...not enough to satisfy my liberal core but light years ahead of GWB and Republican in general. Put it that way: would you prefer Bush or Obama? Would you prefer Palin/Bachman/Romney/any republican over Obama...?
@flamingosuites Carter caused Ronald Reagan to be elected, and look how he turned everything around. We just have to decide who Obama will cause to be elected, to turn his mess around, I hope it’s Rick Perry, for he looks like anther Ronald Reagan to me. Rick Perry has the same principles, philosophies, patriotism, religious beliefs, and the belief that America and it’s people are ‘EXCEPTIONAL’, as had Ronald Reagan.
@flamingosuites Dude, policy-wise Bush and Obama are exactly the same; unnecessary wars, huge government spending and money printing, and making the government bigger. Please don't accept the likes of George W. as what must be the alternative to Obama. I would prefer Ron Paul over them all. End the Fed and the printing of money? Eliminate the IRS and have a Fair Tax? Legalize marijuana? I realize most people are far to rigid to accept these changes, but they would be for the better.
I don't necessarily attribute that to Bush's personal beliefs, but big money has been running the government for a while now, and the policy differences between the two parties have become extremely small. I may have conservative values, but I have a Libertarian view on politics and the way the government should be run.
Let's compare their records. Foreign policy--CARTER: only middle east peace treaty of ANY president. OBAMA: not only continued but expanded upon Bush Wars of Lies and Aggression. Economy--CARTER: appointed Paul Volker, widely credited with turning around America's economy. OBAMA: appointed Tim Geithner, widely believed should be prosecuted for tax evasion. Carter got a bum rap from right-wing jerks. Obama IS a right-wing jerk. There is no comparison.
O man, is this eerie. I remember hearing Carter make that speech. Hard to believe he was talking about the same America most of us grew up in. I keep telling everyone Obama is Carter's second term. But to hear people actually trying to defend both of them is pretty remarkable. Carter was and Obama is a unmitigated disaster.
obama 2012!

Brilliant mix of "Liberal" fascist noise. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." But it needs different music.
How about John Williams' "The Imperial March" (AKA "Darth Vader's Theme") instead?

I see divide and conquer is still going strong as a Republican strategy. And Laura is a woman that even Bill O'Reilly is now calling an extremist!!!

@nathan9384 Obama is Bush on steroids. And you are right. Ron Paul is the only one with the guts to tell the truth.
