  • The state shouldn't have the power to kill people. End of story.

  • Comment removed

  • thers two side to this... the pain they put through people thy killed.. they had no mercy... but then we are hunmans we dont get to judge so its a hard decision tbh

  • If someone brutally raped my little sister or my best friend (whos a girl), or my girlfriend, they should suffer the way they did. fuck em i say kill them all in the most painful way. People will say "how could I say such a thing" lets see if you say the same if a girl in your family suffers by some guy.

  • @vnyc82 what if somebody is being killed whos innocent

  • @cw17able exactly. atleast 5% of prisoners are innocent from the crime from which being committed. not to say some of them wouldn't have done some other crimes though

  • @DonMega187 with your logic, you should be locked up , incase you break the law. what a fuckin moron, im sure the person you posted to thinks the same.

  • who the hell tries to find a humane way to kill sb

i think i suffocate on my own puke thats sooo obsence

  • Killing is wrong, no matter who is doing it.

  • Hang David Cameron lol

  • the only thing in which these instruments of killing should be used on is nazis!!!!

  • you wouldn't have sympathy for somebody who had toutured some poor teenager would you. People who have done extreme wrong deserve to suffer the same as they enflicted on others

  • This reporter may of just got himself a place in hell for choosing to take interest in this for tv documentary profit

  • Like the old man sad, so they feel a little pain, who cares?

  • Painless Method??? Do it like it was done before...head on something chopped off with AXE!!!

  • first you have to ask yourself if executing someone is "humane" to begin with

  • I think the inhumane part largely comes from the fact that you know you're going to die, how and to the precise minute: when.

  • I cant understand how the word humane and killing can be used in the same sentence. The UK has just as many murders now as it did when they used to apply 1250 foot pounds of torque to a persons neck. I don't believe in the death penalty myself.

  • how bout this... let a family member kill the murderer the same way he/she killed the victim? fuck humane.

  • Just kill them with a hammer. Hire an illegal to do it for 5 bucks.

  • @kdavidmcd - I would take that any day of the week since I would not want to pay three times more to a citizen. Great comment.

  • many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends

  • id rather die by a fast gun shot than die with a blindfold and on drugs to not feel the "knife". if thats your method, then give them acid and kill them. cheaper, happier, painless, and idiot-proof

  • Comment removed

  • honestly if these people were child rapists and molestors and brutally tortured and killed thousands of people.... we should not give a shit whether or not they are killed with pain or not. they deserve it

  • @jualkyn i don't object. i just say that "many dead deserve to be alive, and many alive deserve to be dead". i don't object that a child rapist for example should be spared of pain. i would keep a child rapist alive for weeks or months to make him suffer the most, but this will do 2 things- the child will be still gone and i'm not going to be same again. this would be revenge. not justice.

  • @keebordcowboy but have you thought about just whose money you will be spending to keep those people alive? jails are incredibly expensive, costing taxpayers billions of dollars worldwide. How is it fair to keep those people alive spending valuable tax money that could be going into something else? at the same time, at what point is it justice and at what point is it revenge?

  • @jualkyn Death penalty, at leat in the US, is more expensive than a life long imprisonment, mostly due to the high process costs.

  • "One day we will know for certain that an innocent man has been excecuted. On that day we will all be murderers"

  • The best way to kill someone without pain would be to put them to sleep and then shoot them or something? They wouldn't feel a thing...

  • WTF!! Dignitas should be in charge of this procedure, funny how they can use one drug and the procedure is completely painless and if anything a pleasant way to go.. sick fucks regardless of what crime has been committed. People shouldn't be subjected to this especially when it's been proved how many wrongful convictions there are.

  • It's easy -- cyniade is the most painless way to die

  • There is no humane way of killing.

Fuck the death penalty. The government has to be upheld to the same moral standards as it's people.

  • @H3R0ify the people they kill have murdered as well the people we kill deserve to die painfully for what they did

  • @H3R0ify they are you kill someone you shouldn't be able to live on this earth! and suffer your victims suffered there family will suffer the rest of their life, boo hoo you suffer a little bit.

  • @H3R0ify So what is a fair punishment for something that, for example, tortures 10,000 children? Life in prison where they are looked after?!?

  • @H3R0ify Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, so therefore life for a life, it's only fair. In a world where most things are not fair, it is our responsibility to bring at least some fairness into society or else everything simply crumbles into chaos.

I don't see why killing should be "humane", and I agree with your first line, that is not possible. The death sentence is meant to set an example, so what's the point of making the accused comfortable? Uncomfort will scare others straight.

  • @H3R0ify But then the People who have no criminal record or have never done any wrong pay for those others who have. Not our burden

  • a couple quick bullets to the head is painless...

  • Why should it be humanly?? These people killed in cold blood!!

  • I wonder if the things they say about lethal injection being painful are true.

  • awww some pain ....................like their victims?

i believe if we had victims compensation torture , violenbt crime would be very minimal , as it is now , you know i n the back of your mind as a criminal goin no where , youcan kill, rape , rob , assault , and who cares i can go to jail and live for free for years and years ,

do the people whinin even think about the pain of the victim ?

  • @toob247 tbh i think they should bring the death penalty back!

  • @sofieetorriiilovesjw i like how they makem wait nowadays , i used to say why do they get 5 years plus , now i like it , maybe they can realize they dont wanna die , maybe they have children and riht when they realize lives worth livin i'd say what you want for your last meal , steak no prob , then i'd come and get'm and say c'mon , he'd say wheres my steak , i'd say where you think it is? , I ate you aint gunna neeed it now move ya ass. cheers from de

  • Death sentences are retarded. Look at how many people were falsely accused of a crime and given a death sentence for it, it's ridiculous that anybody could want a punishment where it's very possible to murder the wrong person.

  • Two wrongs don't make a right

  • @Shahamu no but the second wrongs keeps many more wrongs from happening

kill the killers , save the whales

  • Painless method of killing: explosives!

  • @Maguel83 Are you broken?

  • @BloodTastesLikeCandy Sry, i dont understand?

  • Comment removed

  • @Maguel83 - cheap too.

  • Well, it looks like I'll be looking for execution job offers. I need a job badly but work doesn't come that often. Too bad I don't work as an Australian hangman.

  • Suppose that 30 years in jail is painful, even without the execution

    What then

  • what a charming man Dr Chapman is.

  • The best way to punish a paedophile is to get the 10 year old boy's to fuck them up their arse's and see how THEY like it!!!!

  • An eye for an eye is not the way to do things, if they can't behave in society remove them, don't kill them.

  • I agree with the man who said who cares if they suffered a little pain? They don't suffer as much as the person they murdered. Hanging someone kills them quickly as does lethal injection or electrocution. Here where I live a 7 year old girl was kidnapped, raped, beaten and stabbed to death. How much pain did she suffer. A needle stick is nothing compared to what she went through.

  • @Cainkane1 That's so sad what happened to that little girl. I agree that it shouldn't matter if they suffer some pain, their victims suffered even worse pain. Plus I don't think executions should wait 15 years to be done, executions should happen within one year of sentencing; on top of that, a prisoner should not be told the date of execution that should be a random date, the victims never get to pick the date they will die or suffer!

  • I don't undartand, why people says."DEATH PENALTY " its wrong. its wrong and no aceptable to kill another person, I mean the Killers shall pay their consecuences. and some how this has to stop all criminals. I do belive in eye for an eye.

  • in taiwan they use an anesthetic before killing the inmate.

  • what about rapists and murderers

  • Great job BBC....

  • You want a no pain method, I can't believe nobody thinks of this. FRICKIN............ H E R O I N. Have I done it ? Never but I know people who have, people who have died and lived to tell about it and they all say....NO PAIN. They have no fear of it happening again, for some it has happened more than once, still no fear.

  • Killing is never is never human sick man

  • Humane execution? Easy, midazolam/hydromorhone overdose, you don't even need to find a vein. Why o why they have been messing about for years with 3 drug protocols etc. is a mystery to me. This way you just go to sleep.

  • @TheSalty786 Youre right. I´m not saying that I agree with capital punishment, but there are humane ways of execution. A horse-dose of morfium or its derivate, for example. Even asfyxia caused by decreasing level of oxygen is not painful. When your blood saturation drops the worst thing you can sense is nausea. Then you turn unconscious and after a while you die, knowing nothing.

  • If you do the crime expect the punishment.

  • Who cares if it's humane! Did someone like Ted Bundy take out his victims in a humane way? Why does he deserve any better? Just so you can take some bullshit moral highground? Fuck that!

  • Stupid. Kill them the exact way they killed there last victim. Its real simple.

  • This is the easiest question EVER.

    1. Inject them with an anaesthetic + extremely strong opiate painkiller, ie: a near-lethal dose of fentanyl (40x stronger than heroin, used in modern operations.)

At this points the subject is incapable of feeling pain and is entirely unconscious.

    2. Administer something to stop the heart, like potassium chloride.

People who have been at death's door from opiate overdoses say it's the most beautiful feeling ever!

  • Comment removed

  • Nurses don't take the Hippocratic oath, they take the Nightingale pledge.....but they are very similar. But Hippocrates was the father of doctors and Florence Nightingale was the founder of nursing as it is today. But I think EMT's should be sufficient to carry out what has to be done, its not like they are the janitor or something! I mean they are EMT's! They still are well versed in IV's and medications....

  • HEROIN IS AN OBVIOUS ANSWER.

  • @mizamazor you know what.....that really is a good idea. I mean an overdose of an opiate would feel good at first, then you would just slip away. That really would be the most humane

  • yes you will feel like you are on fire, i got it before for my sugery but just around your arm are and for like 4-5 sec you will get knockout

  • The death penalty is a punishment, just like any other punishment.

  • If someone kills someone with 20 blows to the head with a hammer, that person should be killed with 20 blows to the head with a hammer.

    So.Fucking.Simple.

  • @MaRzReppin But then the person that kills them has done the same thing.... Should they die the same way too?

  • @MaRzReppin ok ok i get that, but who kills the guy who killed the guy who killed someone with 20 blows to the head with a hammer????

  • @MaRzReppin An eye for an eye makes the world blind

  • @melsbeautytells nope cause nobody would be takin eyes in the first place durp

  • @MaRzReppin So help me if you are a christian I will kill you with 20 blows to the head from the bible.... eye for an eye ring any bells?

  • @MaRzReppin

    no its not that simple

first of all, who is going to kill the murderer and why is that person allowed to kill legaly a human beeing...he is going to be a murderer aswell with no difference to the murderer he was "allowed" to kill

  • @redkabull exactly.

  • @redkabull "he is going to be a murderer aswell with no difference to the murderer he was "allowed" to kill"

Differenc is that the murder is probably going to probably die a painless death -- unlike his victiums.

You think murders went to all this effort to find the most painless way to kill there victums

  • @MaRzReppin what happens if you didnt do it in 20 or less than 20..

  • @MaRzReppin and then the person who does that should also have that happen to them. And those, no one wins, someone dies, someone kills another and yet if you are the one pushing a needle into a criminals arm to kill them, then that makes it alright? Makes no sense to me. As children we are taught that hitting people are bad but as adults we learn that there are certain types of killings that are deemed 'okay'.

  • @SnapePaper ". And those, no one wins, someone dies, someone kills another and yet if you are the one pushing a needle into a criminals arm to kill them, then that makes it alright"

True but at least is better than the murder winning

  • @MaRzReppin that is called qisas

  • @MaRzReppin Eye for an eye

  • @StyrofoamNoise leaves everyone blind

  • @MaRzReppin if an innocent is ,mistakenly punished by execution of this kind, it would be horrific.

  • @MaRzReppin So what you're saying is that we should return to the ethical code from 5000 years ago?

  • @MaRzReppin if some one is tortured for days/weeks, who will take the responsibility of torturing the murderer for days/weeks? according to your logic. It is simple as you said but away from the "eye for an eye", there is the practical side of the matter. WHO will execute the sentence? HOW this individual will feel after the execution? i don't excuse the actions of A Murderer in Anyway, don't misunderstand me.

  • @keebordcowboy I hear you and understand what your saying, so why don't they use a machine to execute the execution ? Metal has no emotion.

  • @keebordcowboy thing is, theres always going to be someone out there who is willing to do that job. Whether or not we think it is moral, theres someone out there that will have no problem holding out executions and being the executioner themselves. How do you think ppl for thousands of years have held out executions? cuz someone did it.

  • yeah....none has the right to remove another's life.

but what about all those who have actualy done it and it many cases several times and in the most gruesome and inhumane ways, do they have the right to live? if you think that they do, then you're no better than them. you don't have any respect for life. those who have no respect for life, should not be allowed to live. its as simple as that.

there should be no argument over death sentence. it should exist in all the world.

  • @xXturbo86Xx If that's true executioners killing inmates that means they have no respect for life either and that they deserve to die too. "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind."

    I find your argument faulty.

  • These people killed other people, probably in the most gresome way. And now you're letting them die peacefully? Fuck that. Let the bastards suffer.

  • we're their victims executed humanly? i say kill the murderers in the same fashion they killed.

  • @1hogfan83 so u think we should be no better then the murders?!

  • To be fair the guillotine was a pretty reliable and quick way of executing people. Not much to go wrong if well engineered and maintained.

  • @hermankatnip and with the guillotine/hangman's noose you have a far better chance of granting the victim's wish for their organs to be donated to science. Electric chairs tend to cook all the internal organs. Not sure about lethal injection.

  • POOR PIG

  • AND ALSO, killing people makes you no better than the criminals!

YOU CAN'T FIGHT HATE WITH HATE !

Here in Norway, we fight hate with love.

  • @nnananah LOL GTFO with that attitude Hitler would still be in your country. Some evil people only understand the bullet.

  • @nnananah

Yeah and look at Anders Breivik, how's your love working there lol.

  • @theporksicle He is an insane man who will get plenty of help from psychiatrists.

  • @nnananah

Well Breivik may well be insane, but there is such a thing as being sane but bad. Do you know what a psychopath is? Someone who is born without a conscience or empathy and who cannot be treated and whose condition cannot be made to improve? They sometimes murder for pleasure, not because they are insane or desperate or even angry, because they are evil.

THEY are the type of killers who deserve to die for their crimes, preferably painfully.

  • @theporksicle I assume that you don't know all the facts about the Breivik case. And yes, I know what a psychopath is.

But I'm not going to discuss this any further.

  • executing people are NOT humane one way or the other.

Death panelty is no punishment! Let the prisoners sit their life in prison until they die naturally. THAT is punishment. I don't see how prisoners get punishment by dying away from a sad and boring life in prison. Killing people like this is just an easy way!

  • @nnananah losing life most definitely isn't win, especially as there is nothing after death.

  • What about the VICTIMS!!!!

Method of execution should be be dependant on nature of crime from slow and agonising to humane. In other words whatever the condemned did to the VICTIM should be done to them also BUT more intensely.

  • NO MAN HAS THE RIGHT TO KILL ANOTHER MAN

  • Keeping a prisoner for life seeing him grow old weak, feeble and worthless is like being a sadist. Not to mention he is living upon the taxpayers money throughout this time. Capital punishment is far more merciful.

  • @ekab78 even though i see your point i have to disagree, if we alloow ourselves to kill eachother, no mater what tittle we have or what the other person has done. otherwise what is the difference between ourselves and the killers?

  • @bloob1418

Capital Punishment is suppose to be for severe crimes. Further more what would you do to a criminal who is in for life for a severe crime and commit the same crimes inside the prison and keep on doing it on every chance he gets? And this is one of the many reason between a criminal and a law abiding citizen. So there is a difference.

  • Stick a granade in your mouth imo, easilly the most painless and guarenteed death.

  • If people end up on Death Row...they obviously weren't "Saints" and I agree with the guy...who gives a rats ass if they feel a little pain. They don't put you to death for unpaid parking tickets...come on people.

  • Death penalty isn't a clean process.

Innocent people have been sentenced to death. There have already been many cases of this. If an innocent person were put in prison for life, and they later find he/she is innocent, they can be released, although you can't give back their time they lost, at least they aren't dead. If he/she can be released. if he/she is killed?

    Too late.

  • Humane execution?

    OOOHHHHH the IRONY!

  • @curingaging00 Becuase kidnapping, rapping and murdering a five young women is so humane. We sould ask for Lawrence Bittaker to be set free because it is so inhumane that we kill him. Oh wait let's ask those five young women he killed about that one. Oh but wait they are dead becasue of him. :| You want to talk about you humane. The humane thing would bet tomorrow to slowly kill that guy he's not human any ways.

  • @Epica124 The problem is that alot of innocent people have been put to death.

Life in prison in my opinion is just as severe, except that if you find out he/she is innocent then they can be released. once somebody is put to death its too late.

  • @curingaging00 You know what's really said is that a lot of what you just said is BS for the most part. A lot of people are innocent. Yeah well guess what in the same breath people like you go yelling and screaming about how someone was found not guilty. The fact of the matter is that for you who don't give a damn about the court system or how it works. I on the other hand care about the system.

  • @Epica124 what the hell are you talking about? "guess what in the same breath people like you go yelling and screaming about how someone was found NOT guilty"

I don't go "yelling and screaming" about that. Way to make a stickman's argument. I am only interested in lowering the chances of INNOCENT people being put to death by the state.

  • @Epica124 There is a reason why there is "Life In Prison"

To keep cold bloody murderers away indefinitely so the public stays safe.

In case you don't know, it is much more expensive to go through the death penalty process then it is to lock them in prison for life.

  • A bullet to the head, that way the witness remember forever.

  • 4:45 ..... Warden is wearing a Louis Vuitton tie. I guess killing inmates is lucrative.

  • @trickshot23 I'm pretty sure that's not a Louis Vuitton tie. There's no LV"s, just squares.

  • @trickshot23 wtf are u talking about?

  • From where I come from there's a cheap and cheerful method and it has become very popular to the suicidal - A bag of charcoal, a barbecue grill (hotdogs optional) and a small enclosed room. U may even be able to enjoy a hotdog before u go if u r lucky

  • Haven't any of you commenters (pro or anti) considered that for crimes that would merit execution, to instead sentence them to no less than exactly 100 years in a supermax prison, with absolutely no chance to get out early. All are satisfied, for the victims: even better punishment as you are not putting the perp out of his misery, for the innocent: more of an opportunity to release and compensated if wrongfully convicted, and their is no liability as death would come from purely natural causes

  • @GFMarshallx1 yea, but who pays the bill? i certain dont want my tax money have anything to do with anyone that has genuinely committed a life sentence-worth crime. Whereas less serious crimes...well.. maybe he/she worth another chance? but i'm sure many will object to that too.

  • @gordonleung226 But you fund Bush and Cheney not only to kill people 9/11 style, but then give their companies trillion$ and a green light to kill millions

In my eyes, anyone who pays taxes is culpable in the war crimes perpetrated by these goons

  • The state should not be in the business of killing it's own citizens

  • @Koreagrrl dam right.

  • @Koreagrrl I would be more than happy to administer the death penalty instead of the state if a) given the authority, b) proof of guilt is based on evidence, not testimony and is clear beyond any doubt.

  • @Koreagrrl What if its own citizens are killing other citizens

  • Funny how tea partiers who think light bulb regulation is a fascist intrusion by big gub'mint into our lives, seem to have no problem with that same government declaring citizens unworthy of life and subsequently executing them. I guess it's the level of logic one should expect from people who think "welfare", which is virtually non-existent thanks to Bill Clinton, is the cause of our financial woes, but the military budget should be increased if anything.

  • @trilobright Do you think it's funny that a guy kidnapped, tortured, raped, and murdered five young women and found there llives to be unworthy. I point to Lawrence Bittaker. Tell me who the fuck gave that fucker the right to kill five young women? I really want to know how someone like you can sit there and tell me to feel something for a guy like that.

  • @marcinandula Yea I wrote that without finishing the vid. I didn't know if they totally put them under or not. I guess when they say that the prisoners feel pain it is in fact after they're supposed to be asleep. Got confused.

  • I'm no pro on this, but why not just do it the same way as we put down animals? Put them to sleep first then inject the poison...

  • There is no such thing as a humane execution.

  • when you execute a man or woman you are merely removing them from this world so that they can do no more harm and nothing more.

  • all you guys talking about torturing and cruelly killing criminals are no better. I am mostly liberal ill admit but i do believe in the death penalty for those who are true monsters of society. but if you must kill, kill quickly and cleanly anything more is an act of a savage

  • @havik206 you made it sounds as if it's a clean and easy process. What about the remaining body... No one has the right to remove another's life.

  • @ginfox91 youre a dumb hippy stfu, im not even gonna rant. no matter what i say u wont agree. they feel some pain who gives a shit. theyre there for a reason not picked randomly. barley anyway to die is painfree. deal with it.

  • All convicted murderers should be deported to the South Pole with 10 days of rations and left there. Good Luck!

  • For murderers I think the best form of execution is a blow torch, some pliers, some boiling water, and a brick. Blow torch em up a little bit, pull the teeth and nails with the pliers, toss a big pot of boiling water all over them, wait 10 minutes to let the pain and terror really set in, and then beat their ass to death with the brick.

  • @lambdachi1826 Would your point of view change if you thought the person was innocent?

  • @lambdachi1826 That would be unconstitutional buddy.

  • The people who murdered someone did not worry if their victim/s were in pain though.

  • Still think the guillitine is the cleanest most respectable way to go capital punishment wise.Personally I would rather go out blasting with the cops.

  • ähm , that could sound cruel but they could use an lethal laser installation.

an short high accurate 3 point laserbeam in the back of the head (central nerv)

quick as fuck , penetration killing and cauterisation at same time. no complication

not messy not bloody. and a humane kind of killing. instead of the laser they could use

an 3 point stainless steel needle system which is glowing hot. my personal invention.

  • if they're killing a killer there should be no reason to look for a humane way. cause the prisoner wasn't humane in killing a person to end up on death row. or whatever else he did

  • The French solved this problem long ago. The Guillotine. Swift, painless and humane. It was the Christians who protested because it severed the body.

  • nobody should allow people to kill others for any reasons especially states end of we need to be civil

  • @timetochilli I'm not paying taxes to keep people who deserve to die alive

  • @timetochilli so, what do YOU say should happen to a murderer?

  • @timetochilli Yeah tell that to the murders first. Tell me was it civil when Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris kidnapped, tortured, raped, and murdered five young women? Was it civil when Richard Ramirez killed 14+ people? Was it civil when Darlie Routier murdered her two sons. Yeah don't tell me or others what is civil. The people are listed are sick and evil and are not human. A human does not kidnap, rape and murder five young women.
