I wonder if Clive has experience putting people at ease. I don't know what kind of lawyer he was, but he probably had to talk to people and get information out of them. He seems like a natural.
I actually thought Debi did a pretty good job -- considering that Greg, Colin, and Ryan have all been doing this for years and years and this was a one-time thing for Debi. Of course she's not as good as the others at the games, but she did some pretty entertaining stuff.
Aww Colin and Ryan are so sweet. Especially Colin. Reassuring the lady who was nervous. In an interview Colin said one of the things you never ever do in improv is to humiliate an audience member; you always want to make them comfortable.
This is the second time a person whose never seen the show came, the other one is technically the second, but the first I've seen, was in the US and had to ask who Ryan was.
I just love Colin's facial expression starting @ 3:35. It would seem that Steph got a little carried away there... It definitely caught him off guard...
Debi wasn't good but she wasn't that awful either.. not like Arlon O'Harlon or whathisname a couple of episodes back. Man that was a low point. Anyway Debi did have some fun lines and she didn't get a lot of time in News and had to go first in Hoedown..so not very good odds.
Come to think of it, she was about as funny as Colin was on his first appearance =not very.
@Satori19 Arlon was actually pretty funny on my terms. Better than her, she hasn't made me laugh at all and he did.
I don't get that, I thought Colin was still funny, maybe not his usual funny because he wasn't as comfortbale, but he was still making me laugh. His performance was closer to Arlon's than Debi's.
After the hoedown Ryan says to Colin, "You took my line." I THINK what he says next is something like "I'm really amazed...I think we've been watching the same..." Something? Can anyone else figure it out?
Okay, joining in on the Debi case here. Certainly not as amusing as we're used to with these amazing performers and probably just too unfunny to be Whose Line material. But her first suggestion for World's Worst made me laughand the swinging cat thing in Props amused me too. Still not terribly funny though XD
BTW, I seriously like that she's wearing 2 different socks and only 1 earring. -not the rest of her outfit XD- What can I say, I like kinda weird fashions like that 8D
Having read your comments before the hoedowns, I decided to skip Debi's part completely and just enjoy the other three - which were brilliant! Especially Greg and Colin, ha ha! :D "I know what you're thinking and no, we are not."
Greg's style of humour doesn't really appeal to me, though I do like him, he's excellent at what he does. Here though, Greg made me lose my drink, that cricket hoedown was pure brilliance. :-)

Drew actually wore the same tie/shirt pairing as Clive here, with the blue flowers. I'm not sure which episode but I just saw it.

Greg's hoedown was fantastic =) "I know what you're thinking... and no, we're not." MVP trophy to Greg!
Fun Fact: The blood used in Psycho's shower-killing scene, since it was a black and white film, was actually Hershey's chocolate syrup.

Ryan is already laughing in the beginning of his hoedown - he knows where it's going to end, and he knows that he can't stop it now.
Greg's verse was absolutely brilliant!!

Debi as an old woman is far too convincing. Good thing the jersey breaks the image.
