why? for even more plain and boring? This is an incredible version by Kissin, particularly from 2:10 on. Gilels and Sokolov are also wonderful, but this version is every bit as amazing, if not better, in my opinion.
I like it and all but ever heard the version by Vladimir Askenazy? Those last bit from 2:10 and on sounds better slow. Find that one, it's how I play it.

I heard a marvellous recital by Kissin in Dublin a few years ago.A fantastic pianist!!
