  • The best performance of this piece ever!

  • hermosísimo, si es que existe esta palabra. con mucha sensibilidad y profundidad: casi lo hace uno llorar

  • Words cannot describe the depth of the emotions Maestro Kissin is able to display in this piece. I am completely and utterly spellbound. Perhaps one of the most beautiful interpretations the world has yet heard...

  • Absolutely lovely singing tones. just wonderful. Just wonderful.

  • why? for even more plain and boring? This is an incredible version by Kissin, particularly from 2:10 on. Gilels and Sokolov are also wonderful, but this version is every bit as amazing, if not better, in my opinion.

  • But it is boring.

  • I like it and all but ever heard the version by Vladimir Askenazy? Those last bit from 2:10 and on sounds better slow. Find that one, it's how I play it.

  • I agree; a recording was on youtube previously, but I can't find it anymore.

  • @wsp67326 it can be found... just type rachmaninov preludes op 23 or 32 ashkenazy...

  • @Tomahawk00984 i have all preludes played by Askenazy...:P

    :D

  • @MilanPtheCharming awesome! I hope you like those better.

  • @Tomahawk00984 i do... maybe it's just because i've been listening to Ashkenazy's recording a lot...:) oooor maybe he has that something for Rach...:) <3

  • I heard a marvellous recital by Kissin in Dublin a few years ago.A fantastic pianist!!

  • very good
