I like to think Buffy did regain her memories of that lost day while she was in Heaven, following her second death in "The Gift". Hence why she was so anxious to see Angel when he called to set up their offscreen reunion. It'd also be a strong support for why Buffy gets as depressed as she does in Season 6, with both getting yanked out of paradise and now remembering something she and Angel may never have again.

@Loulouve94 Buffy/Angel made me cry and laugh when i needed as a kid. It helped me through so much, and i am glad it ran for as long as my problems lasted :-). some would say it ending right when my times got better is a sign of it causing them, but i'm not that superstitious. I just think it's cool buffy got closure when i did. :-)

I lost someone recently and I struggle everyday with it. The difference is that Angel knew Buffy loved him; I never had that luxury. I have no idea if she loved me...i just wish things were different...All I am now is lonely all the time...
i love this episode because it was so sad. the way buffy cries never fails to break my heart every time i watch it. but the episode made me very mad at angel as well. till this day i still cant understand his reasons for refusing to remain human and choosing to break buffy's heart (even though it was only for a minute). he could be content with sitting out the battle and letting her do her job, but i guess his ego would rather he give up the love of his life than remain a regular joe!

i love this episode because it was so sad. the way buffy cries never fails to break my heart every time i watch it. but the episode made me very mad at angel as well. till this day i still cant understand his reasons for refusing to remain human and choosing to break buffy's heart (even though it was only for a minute). he could be content with sitting out the battle and letting her do her job, but i guess his ego would rather he give up the love of his life than remain a regular joe!

This was my very top Angel episode just because Buffy was there and they truely had the chance to be just plan old people for the first time together!!! I hated that it was only a day and most of all that she will never ever know what happened!! This could have given her a chance;In stead of being the chosen one, a girl!!!
