That pitchiness could definitely be worked out over time. He has an excellent voice and stage image. I wish they had given him more respect on the show and worked with him afterward. He is capable of some hits. I don't think anyone is though working with him

this guy sucked a lot of the times he performed and he made some really bad choices with his girlfriend and personal life, but i thought he carried the tune nicely and made it sound really well. yes there were some pitch issues but every talented musician stumbles a little
Mine too! Scott was awesome on this song and many others! The judges cheated him on some of his performances. This was one of my Favs of Scott's of the season. Great job! I actually still listen to it from time to time.

Scott i thought was going to be the idol of this season but i guess america does not get the final say behind the scene everyone knows simon hated him, he rigged the vote tally he was supposed to be safe the week he went home.
yeah what i think the finals will be rigged so the gays and the lesbian haters of the show could not protest the show about adam winning american idol
He's A Very Good Singer, But Thats Not The Point. Given The Details Of His Story, People Expected Soo Much More, Especially With Him Singing This Particular Song. It Was Just Weak !!!

He doesn't have the same feeling // empathy that luther vandross puts into the song. He is just simply singing the song nicely.
I believe that if he had more feelings for the lyrics, he would have sung it differently.
