I was convicted for a felony 14 yrs ago.....i was still able to find work while on probation. I held my job for 9 yrs until i got laided off in 2008. I have not worked since, because of my Felony. Laws have changed a lot of people have lost jobs so employers have more options so they dont have to hire felons. I have not been arrested or convicted of any crimes in 14 yrs but they still act like it happened last week and its not fair.Fuck em.....i just hustle hard everyday....

I own and operate a small business and hire felons because for each felon I hire I get a tax credit. What I don't understand is why big corporations wouldn't want to fill their buildings up with felons because they really dislike paying taxes! If you have a felony it's best to find work with small companies because in this economy we need all the help we can get, but you must have the skill and ability to do the job.
