  • prefiro nevascarangas!!!!

  • I love that quote. It is quotes like thin i the original movie that makes this movie so good.

  • gene wilders willy wonka is probably the best character of all time

  • Thumbs up if when you hear this, you think about the intro to "nothing less' -Living Legends

  • @TheOneJNox You too? Every time man.

  • Pause at 0:09. I think Willy needs to lay off the fizzy lifting drinks!

  • Living Legends.

  • wouldn't that transmit a lot of bacteria?...oh well, the wall is delicious!

  • @fireoutlaw23 My thoughts exactly! I wouldn't suggest licking it during cold and flu season, that's for sure!

  • We are the music makers,

And we are the dreamers of dreams,

    Wandering by lone sea-breakers,

    And sitting by desolate streams;—

    World-losers and world-forsakers,

On whom the pale moon gleams:

Yet we are the movers and shakers

Of the world for ever, it seems. . .

  • I thought this was a well-known film. I'm surprised to hear that people are discovering it because of Aphex Twin, but then again I could be misreading people's comments.

    Great song, though.

  • I wanted to know from what was from this intro from a Buckethead's song: FwSQRBWoPWk

    I found it. I'm happy.

  • @leftfingerFPSB Which Buckethead track? I know this was sampled by Aphex Twin...

  • @spaceling Seaside =)

  • @leftfingerFPSB This is from a wonderful poem by Arthur O'Shaughnessy:

WE are the music-makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams,

    Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;

World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams:

Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems.

  • 2 people have never heard of a Snozzberry.

  • Aphex Twin.

  • @ChampionAnwar Selected Ambients Works

  • you have solved one of the most asked questions ever! "Where the fuck was that aphex twin sample from?"

  • "this banana is fantastic, tastes so real"

    keep licking charlie

  • Intense!

  • Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Creepy!

  • We are the Music Makers !!!!!!!

  • @Wolvest

...and we are the dreamers of the dreams...

  • This movie is about 40 years old and I do not think it would be unusual, nowadays, to lick paper that have certain fruit tastes. Very interesting and outdated. Though still a wonderful film.

  • @misplacednewyawker

it's funny because your opinion doesn't matter.

  • I believe in snozzberries

  • this movie isnt given enough credit for the thoughts imbued in it

  • the more i watch this scene, the more im convinced that this is one of the best samples in music history.

  • @MrMushroom123 what song did you hear it sampled on?

  • @TheJW84 only on "nephatiti" by 808 state and "we are the music makers" (doh) by aphex twin but i bet there are much more great tracks out there. somebody should make a list of it.

  • @MrMushroom123 Listen to nothing less by living legends

  • @TheJW84 Haha that's exactly why I came here. Good track.

  • @GrandMasterFreshMpls Yes it is, slug is a wizard

  • @MrMushroom123 synkro released an amazing tune called.... music makers. and bar 9 remixed it, both worth checking out.

  • D-Block & S-Te-Fan - Dreamerz Of Dreamz

    <3<3<3

  • Like some singers "own" certain songs, Gene Wilder "owns" this story!!

  • We are the music makers,

  • @GuruJoshisstillAlive we sang this for our spring choir contest :_)

  • @GuruJoshisstillAlive Beautifully put bravo well done!

  • @GuruJoshisstillAlive this comment deserves more than a lousy thumb

  • I have heard few words as profound as those in this clip. "We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of the dreams." If you have a fire in your heart to create any form of art then these are the words to live by. I've never heard of a snozberry but by god I would love to try one!

  • i Did not like the new one, thats the olny Johhny deep movie i really didnt like.

  • Electroliners - Loose Caboose (Bassbin Twins Remix)

  • We are the music makers! We are the dreamers of dreams!

That is an unsatisfying answer.- Roger and Stan, American Dad!

  • I love this clip.

  • He fucking owned that Veruca Salt brat

    FACE!!!

  • Willy put homegirl in check!

  • I love how this film is instantly famous because of the Aphex Twin song <3

  • this movie was famous before aphex twin ever existed. when i was a kid everyone knew this movie!

  • It's originally from a poem by Arthur O'Shaughnessy.

  • hahahaha ive heard this in the aphex twin song so many times its weird to hear it somewhere else lol

  • @Peanutslayer2 Yeah, I actually heard the hardcore mix first.

  • Best retort ever.

  • this movie is envious of retorts like this....there is something esle he says which is awesome.... when someone is talking too much e says "you should open up your mouth a little widder next time you talk"

  • perfect.

  • "Who ever heard of a snosberry!" I love it!

  • this little scene is so fantastic, its so fantastic evil.you wont get it when only

    look the movie.

  • well done wonka!

  • how anyone could think that johnny depp could out-wonka gene wilder is beyond me.

  • in all fairness, if there was one to do so it would probably have been johnny depp, but could not agree more.

gene wilder, we love you!!!! xD xD xD

  • i dunno, i didn't care for the remake. not that i thought someone could have done it better than depp, i just thought they should have left well enough alone.

  • The Burton film wasn't a remake, it was based entirely off the book without taking any inspiration from this version. While I'm not a big fan of Burton I will say that his version was far more faithful to Dahl's book.

  • @grayskull04 I agree, it was, but that doesn;t make it a better movie. It all depends on your preference.

  • @mleprkr sooo true!

  • jesus christ i love this movie

  • Aphex Twin!

  • How could anyone dare to rate this less than 5 stars? That final line is from a poem by Arthur O'Shaugnessy.
