They're based on a tagline for the first Mad Max film and the imagery is also based on stills from the same movie.

District 9 Steelbook , epic! Very cool looking cover for Shooter. I remember Oskar had that Last Supper steelbook video a while back, very unique steelbook, I think the cover is supposed to be like a prison food tray. That Deer Hunter one is an awesome one, great movie as well. Cool looking Mist edition.
