Yeah dells suckks dude. My cousin has a Dell and was running windows XP its a 2003 version. Anyways I ordered a free ubuntu cd no cost free shipping. Installed on his computer and his dell started working better than ever. Although he sucks as with computers and now only knows how to use the internet. I laugh at him cause he doesn't know how to use a browser tab or download stuff.

It took 2 to 3 weeks for the cd to get there. If u do end up installing ubuntu u should watch gotbletu videos he has good videos.

Also u could install wubi and have the choice to run windows or ubuntu upon booting.
