  • kawaii

  • Great to see this happiness and love! This is a Hello in the name of Jesus Christ from brothers in Czech republic!!!

  • as long as religion doesnt push out their culture

  • Christian never change any culture of a country..Islam did!

  • @myself i wasnt even telling u guys off

  • Some things never change, Christians never content to simply hold their own beliefs. No, they have to push it on other cultures too.

  • It's not about religion, it's about connecting with a generation that's so obsessed with buying clothes, image, cellphones, studies, and the other pressures of this life. They are teaching that there is something more, that God has a greater purpose for their existence. That's why it's the Gospal, The Good News of Christ. =)

  • That is just delusion. There is no personal god. Christianity is nothing more than a diabolical cult perpetrated by bronze age primitives to seize control of the ignorant masses to establish theocracy. It's a con job with not a shred of evidence to validate it. It appeals to childish dreams (and worst of all) to fear as a tactic to shut down believer's defense mechanisms and rational faculties.

The bible and it's claims defy science, reason and believability. Faith is bad news.

  • You don't make sense! D: You say it's a diabolocal cult yet you say faith is bad. O_o If you believe in the devil (I'm guessing since you wrote "diabolocal cult") then you have some belief/faith that he exists. D: Also, what you also wrote didn't make sense, Christianity is 100% against the devil and his schemes. xD ALSOOOO D; Christianity is actually the most logical religion. And Faith isn't really based on rational, that's why it's faith. =)

  • Hi, Sunriel, yes I do consider Christianity as cultish but cults are the product of man, not demons. I have no belief in deities and devils; they are made up and I am an atheist.

I don't consider Christianity logical or rational since biblical claims are so ludicrous they defy science and reason. Nothing in reality supports belief in miracles and magic. You are welcome to your belief (so are believers in ANY religion).

But as an evidence driven person they have no place in my thinking.

  • I respect you my friend. =) But do consider for literary purposes in reading the New Testament to better build up your arguement. Even aetheist are considered being religious, for they may not believe in Something or Someone higher than themselves, it is becuase they believe IN themselves that provokes one to think that we all have faith in something in some way, shape or form. Not only that, but there is more evidence in the existence of a Creator or Intelligent Design than Evolution.

  • I only stated the concept of Evolution due to the fact that you being an Atheist probably believe in the theory of such. I'm most certain you do know who C.S. Lewis is, he was the biggest Atheist writters of his day then later converted to Christianity. He wrote Mere Christianity soon after, actually one of his best works. In order for one to debate or scrutinize over such a topic, you have to look into the other parties reasons as to why they believe and defend such a belief.

  • @socksumi honestly wonder why you would seek out and watch christian vids just to say thing like this. it seems like a waist of your time to me. you are free to believe what you want, but understand the faith you talk about before you discredit it. ...btw, christianity at it's origin would have been a pretty unsuccesful con job had it been a con, concidering all the original founders but 1 were killed and gained no real physical benifit in life. what con man do you know who would risk life?

  • Well at least you didn't accuse me of blasphemy. I DO think I have a good understanding of the Christianity and the bible; better of than many who call themselves Christian.

I disagree with "it would have been pretty unsuccessful had it been a con". The the early Catholic church CHOSE, COMPILED AND EDITED (among hundreds) the NT scripts that were to become "the word of god". How would THEY know which scripts were the TRUE word of god?, were they divine or just trying create a theocracy.

  • I honestly never heard that those who founded the NT of the bible (the authors?) were killed. Do you mean murdered? How could you possible know this? There is an extraordinary absence of corroborating evidence that supports anything claimed in NT scriptures.

But the con survives today because of two VERY effective tactics. Fulfillment of utopic dreams such as heaven, paradise and unconditional love... and the instilling of fear. Hell threats can cripple skeptical thinking quite effectively.

  • It's documented in historical records that of the 11 remaining deciples, plus paul the apostle, only one of them was not excicuted for his beliefes and claims (the other was exiled). and why would a group of conmen risk their own wellbeing to deceive masses for centuries to come for NO material profit? that is rediculous. and the main point of christianity has little to do with heaven. if you notice, Jesus made much more mention of the Kingdom of Heaven coming to earth than of a final rest.

  • @socksumi well the question is less about them, for me it's more about the external proofs. I believe that God did lead them in the choosing of the scripts that we call the bible. Not because i have been endoctrinated. i know it sounds crazy, but God does talk to people. The clincher for me is the prophecies that line up from texts that are thousands of years old. not only that but, had these men been faking the funk, we would have no documented evidence of God doing things TODAY. see next

  • Many have speculated about so called "fulfillment of prophesy". Some believe the authors of the NT scripts simply made up stories and events that would seem to align with OT prophesy. This would clearly be fraud. Others maintain that OT prophesy is so vague and nonspecific that any number of historical events could be interpreted as "fulfillment". Christians are simply picking and choosing what they want. The Jews on the other hand see NO fulfillment--how do you explain that?

  • for one thing, though some prophecies seem vague, many give specifics like lications and circumstanses that can really be faked. virgin birth, which you may choose to speculate on, location of the birth of the massiah, and all of the particulars of the prophesies partaining to Jesus are documented in historical texts other than the bible. as for the Jewish people, i cannot speak for them, bun not all the jews see no connection. some do even admit a correlation.

  • @socksumi but here's my feeling on it. I'm a firm beilever in Socratese's definition of philosophy: "seeking the truth". when you begin to get into spiritual/metaphysical matters, like the existance of God, ask Him. If you honestly want to find out, go strait to the source. "God if you're there, show me". leap of faith. you have nothing to lose. If God IS there, isn't he big enough to orchestrate his Word as he desires through men? the name of the game, then, is test, not speculate.

  • I don't disagree with the Socratic approach to appreciative inquiry but I would temper it with reason (I am more of an an Aristotelian). A genuine god would manifest him/herself the same way to everyone. But historically we have hundreds, even thousands of "god" concepts--many of which are radically different from one-another. Then there are those (like me) who see, feel and sense nothing.

A god that really existed would reveal her existence and attributes clearly without ambiguity to all.

  • I think the most correct thing you have said is... "leap of faith". This cuts to the source of Christian belief and all other religious belief. People believe what they believe because the WANT TO. A leap of faith is all that Christianity is and all that it's ever been.

One more thing, you claim that god exists and that Christianity is the correct system of beliefs. As an atheist I say no because there is no evidence.

If I were wrong I would want to know it. Could you make the same claim?

  • I keep wondering at how you say there is no evidence. I wonder at it greatly. and a leap of faith is a starting place, but God by no means intends that that is all it ever is. and many could say the same thing about an athiest that you say about christians...that you believe that because you want to. do the historical research yourself. others have and have found much evidence. I'm not going to continue this conversation. I respect your thinking, but don't stop where answers aren't easy.

  • If you care to find some of that evidence I am talking about, a very little bit can be found in a book called "The Case for Christ" by Lee Stroble. I would want to know if i were wrong, but I am convinced of my faith. It's enough that God talks to me, but his distinct power is evident in many places outside of the US. When dead babies with no eyes are raies to life and have eyeballs manifest were there formerly were none at a prayer in the name of Jesus, i take notice. I am convinced

  • Fine that you have your beliefs (as do I). Diversity of belief makes the world go round. But... I find extremely dubious your claim that babies grew eye balls where they genuinely didn't exist. Instant tissue regeneration from prayer has been claimed but never proven, documented or recorded. If it were, you do realize that it would turn the entire world of science on it's head?---It would violate universally held laws of physics, chemistry and biology.

  • @socksumi the Lord Jesus is LORD! over all laws of physics, chemistry and biology, Jesus walks on water, and Save a SINNERS from SINS, no science can save you, Jesus only!

  • @inthelastdayz Typical cultist response. Science is not invented but your god & Jesus certainly are. Christianity is irrational nonsense--- a fear based control system designed to destroy critical thinking and enslave your mind. The fact you perceive science in this way (that it's created) is proof of Christianity's cultist dementia. You are simply brainwashed and delusional.
