D3 looks poor in comparison, go watch the demon hunter intro and tell me you cannot see the cheese. This scene with Baal show just how good a story d2 had, not just the story but the game also played like a dream. D3 so far has not challengedt, it already looks dated. The character we know and love from the Diablo universe is practically non-existent. I hope I'm wrong, i really do.

I played all 5 heroes at BlizzCon and they were all soooo badass, way better than D2. You might be right on the story. I was really meaning the gameplay was great. Demon hunter story looks ok...and remember there was no story to speak of for the D2 characters so I don't know how you can compare it. The intro is super gay though (the video with the candles)
