My DVD / CD does not autoplay when inserted into the computer drive

I have something like this, cept the disc wouldnt show and whenever i pressed it, it said no disc inserted and pops out even if theres a disc. Im pretty sure its still connected, so please help! Dvd's and cds both dont work, it happened randomly!

my laptop cd thing not working plz can sum 1 help me its a toshiba satalite a300 and the tray works fine it ejects and sfuff and it said that it is workin properly and i have checked for any filters (upper or lower and any filters) PLZ HELP ME!!!!!

Hi there..Hope u can solve my problem...

I got an upgrade CD windows 7 from Dell..

But its undetectable on my computer..

My CD/DVD player is ok bcoz it can still detect & play othe CD..

Only CD windows 7 from Dell undetectabl..Huhu..

@Lite75 go to start , then click run , then type regedit then hit enter. be careful what you edit or else your pc are done. good luck
