  • the good thing is a V1 in a commercial and a V1 in a prop isnt the same, a V1 in a cessna is higher than its max speed xD

  • Rejected...because the reject retard couldn't keep it on centerline.

  • learn to stay ON the centerline........

  • I learned to fly on a G1000 panel...it was a 172, and sadly, I'll never go back to one of those. LOL If I remember, a G1000 equipped aircraft has a redundant battery just for the panel in the event of catastrophic electrical failure. I remember a rainy night flight where I got to relay the NEXRAD weather info on the MFD to Memphis Center, as he told another aircraft asking for weather advisories that his scope didn't show any precipitation, even though I was flying through it. PIREP! =)

  • ROFL What would happen if all the generators and the battery (Electrical) failure happens? you loose all your gauges with a stupid ass glass cockpit.

  • @mounsteres then you fly using the stand by instruments. It's not a b ig deal. any other rookie questions you wanna ask?

  • @beergut111 Im not a rookie. go fuck yourself please.

  • @mounsteres nice attitude kid.

  • Yeah my first flight was in a DA40 with g1000. An excellent plane.

  • DA40 XLS ;)

  • Right foot, right foot, right foot!! Get on that centerline, urrrrrrgh!!

  • Is this a diamond model aircraft?

  • @Soccermaniac3555 Yes it is. It is a DA-42 (i thought it was a DA-40, but it has retractable gear.) with the Garmin 1000. The DA-40 instrument panel is almost identical.

  • @fuckinricky and the fact that you can hear TWO engines not quite synced as the power comes up...

  • Im guessing hard left rudder instead of Right???

  • they was practice how can do the rejected take off

  • what happened?

  • @DedmonStudios itll be just a test, it looks like its a DA42 with CTC aviation academy

  • oh, a simulator,

wow, thats authentic, i thought this was a real plane!

  • @DedmonStudios no, its a real plane, CTC own a few aircraft to train their students to fly...

  • good.

    got'cha

  • looks like the garmin1000 glass cockpit setup there

  • it looks so pretty

  • Is this the DA42?

  • yes sir

  • Maybe he forgot to turn the oven off?

  • No he left the iron on!

  • actually more so you dont kill yourself

  • maintain runway center line if you lose that left engine your already on the edge... just a thought!!!

  • no no no no.. thats only for you super professionals!!!

  • that was just ( closing power ) , but if u want practiss let the instroctor close one engine only (do it only in sim and have fun )

  • Yeah simulated engine failure on the T/O roll is common, this was just a simulated stop ie. engine parameters were abnormal, runway not clear etc.

  • is common in sim NOT in real life ,

  • Yeah hence the reason i said SIMulated.

  • im starting my traing in a glass garmin 1000 cockpit i like them

  • Fools, this was no rejected take off, It was CLEARLY an inflight refueling. dumbass.

  • hahahahaha, you were kidding right?

  • lol yeah kidding XD

  • haha you scared me for a second XP

  • i luv the da-42. got about 40 hrs in it when i was learning to fly at embry-riddle. they have the new twinstars now

  • I smell a glass cockpit..

  • i dont like those glass cockpits... i like the regular stuff...

  • Not being funny mate, but what do you think it is?

  • Ok well im sorry Mr expert, but its not really my fault i like planes but i dont know much about them, soo i though it dint look like much like a rejected takeoff..

  • This int a Rejected Takeoff is it?

  • no. of course it wasnt, it was a steep turn....

  • wow dumass it even says in the title: REJECTED FUCKING TAKEOFF

  • Ok fucking dumb ass take a fucking chill pill

  • What caused the RTO?

  • practise RTO

  • Yeah, just practice!

  • Funny those glass instruments nowadays! Is this something like Piper Cheyene craft?

  • No, a Diamond DA-42 Twinstar, kitted out with Garmin G1000!

  • Nice!

Actually when i asked you that i meant typing Cessna-mustang (because i fly this on FSX ) but for some reason confused it with another plane :)

  • Just checked the Mustang--in a similar way they have the analogue instruments ontop of the glass, only they've put three screens on the sim model: two extreme identical (instruments-glass) and the middle is moving map as in your Garmin module.

  • Ah, yeah the limited-panel flying in this was interesting!

  • I went through CTC so do not pay for a type rating as such (ie up front cash nut am obviously on a reduced pay initially). I started at easyJet this week.

  • This was filmed in New Zealand where you require by NZ CAA to have a type rating for every type you fly, be it a Cessna 172 or a PA-28 which was why I had to get a type rating on it. I also had to fly the DA-42 in UK to complete my basic training, where of course an MEP is enough for the aircraft. But as we're on the subject of type ratings, I am ten days from completing my A320 type rating, which defo needs one! ;->

  • how much did you pay for the A320 rating and do you have a job?

  • Good luck earning a type rating in a twin star. A little bit to light for that I'm affraid.

  • Certainly is mate!

  • Is that a Garmin G1000 Glass cockpit DA-42?

  • Yea...That is G1000...

  • No, it's a Diamond DA-42 Twinstar.

  • is it ATR ?

  • Dude, ATR is not that small :D

  • lol

  • It was just a training exercise as part of a lesson. One of the exercises that needs to be ticked of before going up for the type rating!

  • the same above... why?

  • why was it rejected?
