The way the creator portrays their relationships is kind of the same way in which CLAMP does. In a sort of "soul mate" kind of vibe. I honestly don't see how that makes it corrupt at all.

Well, it not necessarily be cannon yaoi, but there is something in the manga that threw me for a loop. In one of manga books, in the profile of Hakkai, there it's mentioned that he may be the straight guy, but that it's debatable. I don't think there are too many ways to read that. Plus if you throw Araiso High and Wild Adapter into the mix it does make you wonder.

So maybe . . . shonen ai? There are certainly enough HINTS of it.

Hints and hunches don't count. Unless Minekura says these characters are gay, they are straight heterosexual guys to me and always will be. Why is that guys can be the best of friends who love each other like brothers? I know lots of guys who have best friend relationships like that and are definately straight.
