  • ITS BEAUTIFUL !!

    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • I think you are farther along on the journey than am I. I am curious about everything and want to know all this stuff.

I dream of visiting those other solar systems - someday.

I also dream of eventually re-uniting with my Husband Lord.

All in its proper time, according to the Hukam of Vaheguru.

    Chardi kala!

  • Thanks for the video. Very nice.

  • fascinating. what is the name of the Sikh holy book?

  • Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

  • The Sikh Holy Book, our living Guru is called Shri Guru Granth Sahib (SGGS) or sometimes Aad Guru Granth Sahib (ASSG).

  • Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

  • Sikhism accepts science. As Sikhs we must believe in science 100% and SGGS's teachings.

  • 2:42 Aliens Exist

  • Gurbani states "conquer your mind and you will conquer the world". This was said more than 400 years ago to Sikh disciples. This is the secret of salvation in Sikhism. This is how to meet your creator lord waheguru who is present throughout the universe, time & space and in you also.

  • this was also believe 2500 years earlier when buddha said quotes similar

  • sikhism was born in the DARK AGES: when people believed in 5 planets, one sun and one moon. Well before galileo. Time has no relevance as to why it is evry scietific and still 100s years ahead of science.

  • Your right, The guru's saw the vast universe not by telescopes but through their minds. They witnessed countless galaxies and planets while people in europe were still pondering on 1-5 planets, the earth being flat and everything revolving around the sun.

This is why so many people came to Sikhism, learned muslims and hindus became Sikhs because they wanted to know how these Guru's were able witness such things when they had no visble means to see God's vast creations in the universee.

  • Sikhism is neither Islam or hinduism. It came when the world believed in one sun, one moon, 5 planets and earth as center. However, Gurus taught of infinite life forms throughout the universe, infinite religions, suns, moons, universes. Their knowledge far surpasses even modern science.

  • The only reason that sikhs are able to be so scientific is because it came out late , its a new religion. Like Islam , in the Qu'ran it mentions things like medicines and how the earth was formed , the inner cores , and atmosphere etc. Unlike Hinduism which is like their a God that is water and air , and he is the lake Jamuna or whatever. And Greek Mythology where Atlas holds up the earth , only because they are older than most religions and came before common sense and science.

  • Sikh scriptures were written in the 1600s

people in Europe still thought the Earth was flat during that time and the words "Solar System and Galaxy" were not even in their vocabulary

and somehow farmers from India wrote about the creation of the Universe with it's immense mass and numerous stars, galaxies, and solar systems?

I believe God communicated with the Gurus only, because there is not one thing in the Guru Granth Sahib that can be proven wrong today

  • u do knw dat many of the scientific truths that are explained in sikhism wer writin way b4 scientisist even cam up with those idea? i get wht ur sayin abou its younga thus 'mor up2 date' but the idea shown in this that the elements came together to form lyf, wer onli reali explained in very modern science, well afta sikhism had already sed it.

  • Thats not really true. Modern sciences' theory on the "big bang" was developed in the late early 20th century. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was completed in the 17th century. But Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji doesn't tell us purely about science, Guru ji tells us how we should live our lives and Wahegurus message.

    Rab Rakh

  • no u r wrong mr naz.the things which sikhism talks of were unheard in even those times.there were no galileos telescope at the time of guru nanak,no big bang theory then,he talked abt equality of women which was unheard then,so ur very wrong in judging like that.islam refutes evolution but sikhism not only believes in physical evolution but also in evolution of soul.and these things were told by gurus before darwins were born.

  • it would've been perfect if it was in bigger words and simple bold font.. i tried my best to read but i cant make out the words...plz post agn

  • search for translation of Guru Granth Sahib In English or Punjabi and you'll find all these quotes

  • In Japji Sahib Guru says " within an instant the entire expanse of the universe was unveiled....and lakhs (many 100000s) currents began to flow"

  • A good start. In Jaapji Guru says "...within an instant the entire expanse of the universe was created..."

  • Nice animation, nice sound effects, but text is too small(at some parts), pretty hard to read it...

  • excellent video

certainly shows that sikhi is compatible with science as we know that life evolved from the air and water

sikhs need to realise the beauty of what the gurus have given us.

it's a truly unique path that we should cherish.

it is our duty to use it for the betterment of ourselves and of all humanity.

  • Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of the Sikhs, explained the creation of the world before the modern theory of the "Big Bang"...

  • thesikhchannel . c o m

    LAUNCHING ON SKY UK 2009

  • 3:30 can this be referring to the so predicted apocalypse?

Why is it that most of us (humans) become so absorbed within society that we start to forget our creator God, Lord, Waheguru, Allah. If we want to be saved from the evil grasp of the 5 evils within our selves, we must recite the true name, and ask for Waheguru's kirpa. And hope that we can be saved!!

and thank you very much H.S.L. for making this video =D it is awesome!!! i love it!!

  • Your welcome, thank you for your appreciation

  • within in sikhi is to be found an abundance of wisdom, love and tolerance, unfortunetly our religous leaders have failed to propogate sikhi they are consumed with gurdwara politics, sikhi was an inclusive religion, one of tolerance, we need to treat mona sikhs with respect too and not as infidels, the sikh inteligentsia need to take this religion forward and take it out of the hands power seeking individuals, we should be united turban or no turban

  • lol little bit like islam

sikhsm is somethink like islam and budhism

  • how so? budhists dont believe in God, they believe in Budhra

  • Its not much of Islam .. they're Monotheistic people , but then again they meditate and believe in Reincarnation , while Bhuddism is NON theistic. Its more like a mixture of Monotheistic Hinduism and Islam. They're very natural and stuff.

  • Sikhism is not mixture of islam and hinduism. You obviously know little about it. Its as ignorant as saying that islam is a mixture of judaism and christianity.

  • are u sure about your knowledge?!! do you really think people actually "studied" science and then taught people. n do u really think that they did not discover themselves by meditating on God. And r u sure that Guru Granth Sahib only tells about the science that was already told?

Do u know Guru Nanak dev ji said earth is round before even Galelio was born. Not only this he told many more secrets of Earth. U r ready to consider a normal human being more scientific than an actual GURU.

  • r u sure that Sikhism could only solve mysteries because there was science. I mean do u really think science just started at that age...sci had been going on since BC (forget abt AD) and what about the science mysteries that were told by gurus and in the Guru Granth Sahib that are still to be discovered.

Do u kno Guru Nanak Dev Ji that earth was round n not flat before even Galelio was born.

Do you really think that gurus were not more scientific than what we are today?

  • =)very nice

  • Please visit sikhtruth. com to learn more about the great Sikh religion and its followers who have achieved great things.

  • Sikhism is the most purest religion in the world, it is the most common sensical, ethical and practical religion... look it up

  • Is Sikhism compatible with Buddhism?

  • Don;t know what you mean by compatible but their are similar concepts such as; reincarnation, seeking liberation of the soul through meditation, the concept of karma do on to others as you want done to you, etc. The main difference is that buddhism doesnt believe in God, wheres in Sikhism the fundamental belief is in the oneness of One universal creator spirit God of all.

  • so wait, sikhis believe in allah right? and reincarnation? never knew that, but if thats true than its cool

  • So Sikism in Polatics? Good, Bad? No I Joke. I love the Sikh religion. So peaceful and good natured.

  • no buddistism is a another religion

  • Please do not mention politics in the comments, only comments related to this video and Sikh theology, scriptures and philosophy will be approved thanks.

  • Music is excellent! Idea is also excellent. But the letters are too small. Please make them bigger. Sukhwant Singh Thaper

  • Sikhism truly was ahead of its time.

  • damm straight.

In gurbani it is said their are millions upon millions of suns and galaxies!!!

  • help the world be a better place help the world by copying and pasteing this all over youtube make the world a better place just remeber this if u think bad u will c bad things if u think good u will see good things.......

nothing is perfect in this world eveything has its loopholes make people think

  • i cnt read the writing too small......can u enlarge it plz

  • god is infinate ailovesu204- please look at the meaning of the mool mantr- it is the definition of god according to sikhs. peace.

  • If the creator of the world entire They call God, of every being be the Lord Why does he order such misfortune And not create concord? If the creator of the world entire They call God, of every being be the Lord Why prevail deceit, lies and ignorance And he such inequity and injustice create? If the creator of the world entire They call God, of every being be the Lord Then an evil master is he, Knowing what's right did let wrong prevail!
  • my friend, suffering is a human perception and this perception is induced by the evil doings of other humans.

in a time where globalisation, capitalisation etc were not an issue, neither were famine, pollution, war....

imo god should not be personified or worshipped only marvelled.

    peace

  • nice

  • hi,i guess u are confused of things(bad and evil) which are hapening in the world, iam not sure wat relegion u belong to but if u read japji sahib and meaning by sant Maskeen ji,it might help u some way.

In second pauri guru nanak dev ji has explained that humans on earth are given the freedom of both the paths bad and good,it really depends on us which one we choose and accordingly we get the fruit.

  • But...if god was floating there "like in undisturbed meditation", who made GOD???? Someone PLEASE answer this!

  • god has always been there.god isnt in a part of the universe.god IS the universe.the universe is a projection of himself as are all the creations within it, dont think of god as a person meditating,he is a force an energy,an energy that us as humans.our brains cant comprehend hes existence how he came into being

the universe was made by the big bang but what was there before it?our brains cant comprehend such thinking.same goes for how did god get there. god was always there

  • god was true in the beginning....god has always existed, dont think of god as being in sum part of the universe god IS the universe, the universe are the projections of god as is all that is in it. dont think of god as a person just there, think of god as a type of force, energy. our brains cant comprehend cant decipher how god came into being, if u ask wot came before the big bang ur brain cant give u even a visual answer in ur head.same with god,we cant comprehend how it all happened

  • simple question with a simple answer- god is infinate and beyond our simple minds. i could explain this scientifically also- but first please do some study into quantum physics - esp. on how to derive 5th- and 6th dimension from our visible 3 dimensions- oh and 4th dimension cos after all you can see time through physical change.

  • It is so true whats written wahe guru ji ka khalsa waheguru ki fateh

  • Hey something weird for thought. Sikhism where did its origins and ideas come from? god as eternal is something many greeks including aristole talked about, before creation the world was endless eons only darkness no earth or sky sounds like the big bang theory, and us coming from the ocean sounds lik evolution. An amazing religion no wo nder when people takje spirtual journey's they end up in India at the end:):):):) I hail the next superpower

  • It originated in Punjab India..it has 10 gurus..It was them who wrote all those things in the guru granth sahib...i cant really say more...its hard to explain.. i would suggest that you do your own search than being influenced by some1 who doesn't even know anything about it

  • sad to say India is against Sikhism type in operation bluestar and see wht India does to Sikhs who onlywant equal rights and peace.

  • India is not against sikhism bro. And sikhs have equal rights too. Mr. Manmohan singh is the Prime Minister of India, and not a single word rose against him when he was elected Prime Minister.

  • i agree, a lot of people look at 1984 and it was disgraceful i agree - but people dont know that indira gandhi who set it up was a muslim - check this out ...

  • Indira Gandhi was a Muslim?

How is that possible I thought she was Brahmin?

  • WaheGuru bless you all, excellent video touch my heart and soul gives me a lot answers about perfect religion sikhism, need more same type videos.

  • Very nice video touch my heart and soul, need more this type of videos for our young generation to know about real religion(sikhism).

  • I am so proud of being Sikh. So happy that I was born into the greatest religion; given the opportunity to chant the Waheguru's name. Love Waheguru and your family. Dont get too caught up with tending to your family that you distance yourself from your real mother and father, Waheguru.

  • Reading these scriptures makes me proud of my religion. I am so happy that I was born into this religion. Waheguru granted me such a glorious opportunity to chant the name of our Supreme Lord Waheguru. I love the music, changes my mood from pessimistic to optimistic; gives me hope that there is someone out there who knows my feelings without me even uttering a single sound.

  • as long as it teachs about god and not to be afraid, whats better then that.

  • You can count every single grain of sand on earth and you will still get more stars in the universe. This is truly amazing! Feel proud to be a Sikh, I think I should switch my major over to physics lol.

  • SSA, i couldnt read all of the text, could you forward me the text of what was written in the video and resource to my page please or email text. thank you

  • Go read da Guru granth sahhib evurythin is there

n these thingz came frm there 2

  • Thank you for this beautiful video. It gives us a feeling of the expanse of God's presence and power. It is my favorite video on Youtube!

    Waheguru bless you!

  • its a nice video, but how do we know that this scripture is from God?

  • sorry I meant to say: the first solar system other than ours, in the last few days, was discovered.

  • scientists have discovered the FIRST universe! in the ast few days. I wonder when they will discover water on other planets: Japji tells us that are millions of oceans throuhgout the Universe.

  • The holy scripture state that right path to salavation is through mediation, when ones mind is attuded to the naam the Name of the Lord of the Universe. It is only when one realizes this that it will be easy to cross over(taking your soul to the right place, Heaven).Guru Nanak (through mediation - has shown us what no one has ever seen)

  • The entire holy scriptures not only about the Universe But about the Lord of the Universe who created everyone. It teaches one to be on the right parth to salvation, which can be obtained through mediation.

  • this video was awesome...the images are scary..such supernatural spiritual pics...great job

  • I didn't see it in the credits.... but the Mul Mantra track was from Raga Sadhana by Sangeet Kaur and Harjinder Singh. And was then added with some other music.

  • Your correct..details have been added to this video's description.

  • Pearl S Buck (Nobel laureate, Non Sikh)

"..have studied the scriptures of the great religions, but I do not find elsewhere the same power of appeal to the heart and mind as I find here in these volumes...are a revelation of the concept of God to the recognition and indeed the insistence upon the practical needs of the human body. ...They speak to a person of any religion or of none. They speak for the human heart and the searching mind.

  • all religions that believe in the Almighty ONE Lord and assosiates no partners to him what so ever is beautiful... thanks for the video... englightening.. i understand the sikh religion better now:)

May God Bless us all :)

  • True: Guru Ji says in Japji that no one will ever know how we were created: However Guru Ji tells us a lot about the universe. Why? To point out the greatness of almighty and tell us that there are many paths to God.

  • can't we all just live without having to think about how we were created? I can tell you that we'll never figure it out.

  • lol so true it makes your're brain hurt. i use to do that a lot when i was a little kid before i drifted of to sleep.

  • very true

ignorance is bliss on such wide scoping questions

  • Majority of the Japji Sahib is about universe and creation:

Guru ji mentions: endless numbers of oceans, mountains,

Continents, religions..throughout the universe. Now you see why

Gurus never said Sikhism was the only path? They knew a lot more than

Science will in many ages to come.

  • Arnold Toynbee. historian, non Sikh

"Mankind's religious future may be obscure; yet one thing can be foreseen. The living higher religions are going to influence each other more than ever before, in the days of increasing communications between all parts of the world and branches of human race. In this coming religious debate, the Sikh religion and its scriptures, the Guru Granth, will have something special of value to say to the rest of the world. "

  • Rev Bradshaw (a non Sikh) of USA writes:

"The Guru Granth Sahib of all the world religious scriptures, alone states that there are innumerable worlds and universes other than our own. The previous scriptures were all concerned only with this world and its spiritual counterpart. To imply that they spoke of other worlds as does the Guru Granth Sahib, is to stretch their obvious meanings out of context. The Sikh religion is truly the answer to the problems of the modern man. "

  • so true. i think of it as a philosphy not a relgionas they create wars and divides.

I wonder what the take in our view is, of the world rulers..nwo..elites etc and their unpleasent plans.

  • Good job, but please note almost the entire Japji Sahib is about the creation and universe. There is so much more..Babaji has told us there are INNUMERABLE continents, oceans, mountains, religions..throughout the universe. Also note we should see Sikhism as unique and also not degrade other religions, otherwise we are no better than other relions who are bent on conversion and very narrow minded. Guru Ji says"..worst crime is to say foul about a saint.." there are saints in all religions.

  • Good job, but please note (and find out for yourself), almost the entire Japji Sahib is about the universe and creation (I am not Joking). This video has just touched the surfacea. Babji tells us of innumerable religions, oceans, moutains, continents...THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE. Life on other planets of course! Please note all religions lead to God and we should not become like others (relions)-respect everyone.

  • yes yes.stop the divides, unite as one and defend our civil liberties against the world top elites, such as rockefellers (3 trillion in wealth). true equality will come when everyone has the equal income thereby greed, lying etc will subside.

  • does anyone know that Gurbani in Japji Sahib) talks about the Big Bang: Previosuly theory of universe had said that it was created steadily (steady state theory) and last few deaceds they talk about Big bang.

    In Japji Guru Ji says:

Planets and solar systems are held in place according to your laws (vedas had said it was a bull supporting arth)

Within an instant the world was created!

  • Islam says only muslims go to heaven. Sikhs believe that every faith is beautiful as long as it is not hurting anyone. Once a muslim said mother tereasa is in hell because she isn't a muslim. And Sikhs believe in the equality of all mankind.

  • does that mean i can be watever religion and reject sikism and go to heaven meaning ur religion is pointless?cud u answer that 4 me pls...who ever said mother teresia is going to hell was wrong to say that, but to say she is goin to heaven is also wrong, who are we humans to decide.

  • No - its just that Sikhism is one of the only religions that states all religions are equal and all lead to god. Sikhism doesn't compete with other religions to gain followers or force or preach to convert. If this translates to being "useless" in your eyes then you need help.

  • which one is correct, you are saying its you becuase you perceive it as beatiful, but wheres the evidence, proof? Any way its was a nice video.

  • Gurbani (sikh scriptures) state theirs many more galaxies, solar systems, planets other than what we could see 500years ago. Scientists are confirming this now by using hubble and other advanced instruments and techologies finding distant earth like planets and solar systems. No other religion scriptures I am aware of state this explictly as it does in the Japji sahib in the words of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

  • thats true

  • Can you post it again with bigger words and simple font thats easier to read and the title starting with something general like- Creation of universe. it's easier to find.

    It's a nice job otherwise.

  • Wonderful! Sikhism's message is one among the greats. May God bless everyone.

  • Google search ''Sikh Religion and Science'' Hit the second link.. Excellent book in the form of PDF. This is a must read..Do the knowledge.

  • Great vid, i was totally mesmerized to the beauty and wisdom that Sikhs profess, that God is everywhere and in everyone of us. Respect to ya all, thanx for sharin'!

  • Also it is Sikhs and monotheistic Hindus that say men and women are equal.

  • Well said chavinder. Hindus, Sikhs, and muslims say God is one. But it is Sikhs and monotheistic Hindus say God is everywhere. Within all of us. And the best way to reach God is by meditating on the One God. That is what 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji' and the Gita says.

  • This is good for ex-Muslims who gave up Islam but still want to belong to Islamic tradition but not the Quran.

  • Thanks, that was peaceful.

  • Allah is Waheguru they are all one God!

your just racist and ull never merge with akal purakh if you continue thinking that way

  • Great clip, im glad you've quoted directly form Guru Ganth Sahib

  • LOL! Are you guys kidding? Sikhism is NOT the same as retarted Islam! Also, you guys have the best religion along with Buddhism! Also, God of Aryan religions like Buddhism/Sikhism/Vedism/Jainism is totally different from the BS Islamic "god", who is a retard like MoreHamMad! Good video guys! Aryan religions are way more scientific too! Anyway, Respect!

  • I totally agree with chavinder!

  • why can't humanity just open its eyes to the truth! All the scriptures point to the same message! Compare The Sri Guru Grant Saab to The Quran! The message is exactly the same: THERE IS ONE GOD! ONE GOD!

  • The main difference is that Muslims believe in God because of fear of going to hell. while sikhs believe in love for the God. and In Islam it is said that if you believe in Allah you will go to heaven. While in sikhism it is said that by meditating on God's name soul will reach sachKhand.

  • Well said. I agree 100%.

    Great video by the way

  • Well said paaji, sikhi teaches one to love naam - it places emphasis on naam above all else.

  • Ek Onkar, Sat Nam.
