I took the time to get used to the Kaossilator and tried for better music (as in my kaossilator video #5). But I'm no pro. In the information-section of my kaossilator videos, I offer a Hall of Fame with the best examples of Kaossilator-playing I could find so far.
If I were Korg, I would have made the Kaossilator support 16-beat loops by doubling the storage. The Kaossilator Pro does; it's bigger and fills in many of the limitations of the small Kaossilator, AND you can store everything on an SD-card.
To get 16 beats on the small Kaossilator, hold the LOOP and TAP/BPM buttons while turning on the power. You will see "dLy". Let go and let it turn on. Then hold LOOP and press TAP/BPM, you can now dial up to 16. But there is no more "Fix" function.
Is there anything tell you what note your actually playing? So you dont record everything out of key?
