I appreciate the efffort, HD and all, but it's not working for me. I'm alone in this room and I just want the fire (+sound) on the second computer screen. But no matter where I skip to in the video, there's always more noise. It's either breathing or walking, I think even a toilet flushing, the poke gets dropped somewhere (and that made me jump in my chair), and so on. As a viewer you never know what's coming, which takes away the chill effect. It's distracting.

I think this video would be better with like 4 burning logs and then just repeating the same clip. Otherwise this vid is great but those noises are annoying. So with repeating you woulnd't have to put some more logs.

The sound of this fire is Outstanding. I would also use this video for the day time it is wonderful. I was raised being close to the Pacific Ocean so this would be perfect ! Thank you for your hard work, and most of all for SHARING THIS VIDEO WITH US ! I hope you decide to do more and perhaps the next one will be with less light.

@MoneySavingVideos Here is a suggestion, you could do a valentine's day fireplace :)

Decorate it with hearts or something. I was searching youtube to find fireplace videos to watch with my girlfriend on valentine's and after watching yours, the idea came to me.

@MoneySavingVideos i would agree with @rfsdewijnify the contrast certainly adds to the 'feel' of being sat in a dark room infront of a roaring fireplace. this video does feel more like being sat in a bright room, certainly lessens the effect...
