i have a love hate with mine. it has no radio, no alarm or clock and the positioning of the ipod is terrible! if its sitting on a table you have to stand up to see the ipod display, why they dont put it on the front is baffiling. but i bought it for it's sound and it sounds GREAT. but for the price i would like a clock, some fm radio and for the love of god, FIX THE LOCATION OF THE IPOD!

@yoan74a Really!? These are the 2 I'm considering. I'm leaning towards the jbl because it has airplay, a screen, and a radio, and I have computer speakers from jbl that are awesome. Also I don't like how my phone will be layer down in this and not up right. Now that u say bad quality I'm really thinking jbl for the extra 100$.

i hav one of these and its really awesome. its looks are really sleek and damn it has got life like sounds. bass feel like the entire ground is shaking and i really recommend this coz it charges ur ipod even when power is off and its portable........howver to make it portable u need bout 8 big torch batteries!!!!!overall its ur mini home theatre!!!!!!!!!!

i have one of these too and me too im a bit confused because mine has just one bass driver, and the general sound is full of treble (high frequencies) i have to chose the "treble reduce" in the EQ menu on my ipod.

please can somebody help me ?

I have one of these and I'm a bit confused. Perhaps someone can answer my question.

The mfg specs say 2xtweeter + 2xwoofer but at the back there appears to be one woofer and a 'dummy' speaker.

This would all make sense if the rear 'speaker' is passive and the woofers are in the front.

Could someone please clarify.

@fivakis15 Harman/Kardon Go is the loudest portable speaker around last time I checked, way louder then the Bose Sound Dock Both speakers produce excellent sound quality but the Bose Sounddock produces a sligtly beter sound. I own a Harman/Kardon Go and highly recommend it.

The camera just don't pick up the bass. I was in the store today and tested it with my iPhone, and DAMN what sound it is! I'm going to buy this or Altec Lansing inMotion Mix iMT800.. It's hard to choose.

Hey, Harman Kardon is in Europe and I believe America too a High-End luxury brand. You can hardly compare it to Sony or whatever, it`s in a totally different league. Thanks for the Review!

This is far from crap.

However, the b&w is not in the same class. Good luck transporting the zep at 20lbs and no handle.

For $600 I can buy an amp that would KILL the b&w and allow me to do alot more as well...including any speakers I want. While not looking like a football.

Had one of these for about 6 months. Awesome sound box. I use it for training clients doing circuit training. When running off the mains this baby fills an entire gymnasium with sounds. A very impressive unit that works perfectly with my ipod Touch 2nd gen.

This system is freaking awesome, has two awesome mid sized speakers on the front with two really loud tweeters, the back boasts the coolest cone shaped subwoofer ever!!!!!

Please be aware that this unit has now been revised and does NOT have the USB input or S-Video output. There will still be stock that will have these connections, but if the one you pick up does not, advise the sales person and get them to price accordingly. I have seen these still priced at the normal price but with the extra connections removed. I pointed this out to the sales person and saved a lot of cash. I was not fussed about the connections, I just needed something with decent sound.

there are 2 speaker grill at the back... one holds the active woofer while the other is dummy... yes air will come out because of the woofer cone movement..

i have plenty of this in our showroom and this will sound way better... a 100 folds than jamo or bose soundduck though a bit bigger size than the later..
