The FCDA Report PROVES that the Cannabis Prohibition Law is ILLEGAL!
It's already been used to successfully defend a number of people in courts in the USA, UK, Ireland and Europe! Read about it at -beforeitsnewsdotcom-
I think it is illegal because it makes some people pacifists. We lost Vietnam because of weed. I don't mean that as a bad thing, but soldiers started smoking up and questioning why they were even there.
this is BS because stoners don't vote alot of people don't vote if all stoners took a second to put down the bong and vote we will have a legal bong session
whats the point of pot, you'll get addicted to it and when you have to go to your local drug dealer to pay at least 100+ dollars for an ounce I don't understand why people need pot. Is just to have your mind relaxed or is it that its a gate away drug or medicine that certain people like to call it want to experience all the time and pot heads are surely going to respond saying your a fucking fag for listening to the government or your a person who doesn't get it. DONT DESTROY YOUSELVES addicts
@ticktock8692 Listen, i'm not sure if you have ever tried marijuana or not, but I have. I have used marijuana recreationally many times, although not habitually. It's not addictive at all. The best way I can describe what it does, is that it simply makes everything better. Everything is more worth doing, as long as its chill. If you play guitar, smoke some pot, then play guitar... trust me. Its pure politics why its illegal. There really is no sensible reason for this.
@ticktock8692 I stopped reading when i read the term 'gateway drug'.
The only reason cannabis is deemed a 'gateway drug' is because of the black market; ie, let's imagine you have a drug dealer, whom you wanted to get an ounce off. the dealer says 'hey, i don't have any weed today, why don't you try this instead?' however if it was legal you could safely get the cannabis without the temptation or risk to take other drugs. also you can't be addicted to weed.
well... indeed you ARE a fag for listening to the government, haha... all WE people know is that they say they care about us... well in some cases they actually do, BUT, governments are there to "protect" their people... and who says whats good protection? right, the government... we cannot say whats good for us because we are not allowed to do anything more than choose our leaders... what our leaders do lays in their hands, not in ours and of course they can do what they want...
Bullshit! More than 99% of the videos on youtube regarding marijuana are in favour of legalisation and any videos you can find opposed have about ten times as many dislikes as likes.
@JHashcroft that is becuase liberal america (all the 18 year olds who own youtube accounts) is still missinformed and making decisions on a whim (such as in the 08 election).
yeah except when they they talk about legalizing it and taxing it then the majority jumps to legalizing it. cut through the bs and make it legal already.
what we have here is a cultural attack from the government. cannabis culture here obviously is at 45 %. well what about how many people are religious por not? or political view? should we make them illegal too if over half the polulation does or does not support something?
55% support the dangerous drug cartels and want to keep giving them money and support them, VOTE YES! to stop the cartels and use that money for schools and hospitals
50-60% of the people are creationists. That pretty much explains a lot of this. In other words it is very likely that the science-denying creationists are the ones against pot legalization. Is that any surprise? Creationist = fundamentalist retard.
Well, I'm not surprised at all. I've always guesstimated that at least Half of Americans are down right stupid or of mediocre reasoning. It's not hard to figure if you own and drive a car regularly.
I don't support marijuana or marijuana users whatsoever, but I believe weed SHOULD be legal, merely because alcohol and cigarettes are and they're more dangerous substances.
Intelluigence wise, legalizing and taxing pot would be the smartest decision in US government history. As long as it was very well regulated. Otherwise, it'd be the downfall of civilization. Instead of working, everyone would be high all day. That's why I'm against using it.
@Mcheetah in the 70's and 80's I benefited from the energy I got from it, working in a grocery store at lunch time after a meal and a smoke, instead of coming back to work needing a nap, I was ready to get 'er done, just like some people are allergic to alcohol some may be allergic to pot, but one size don't fit all
Those who make laws are under huge pressure from their supporters and a large portion of the public to keep it illegal. People just see it as this bizarre drug from South America / Asia. So long as the people that put money into our government are biased and uninformed, so to will our laws be biased and uninformed.
55% huh, no one from the goverment has ever asked me how I felt on the issue and I'm betting none of you have been asked either. Therefore, I could only assume these numbers are a little underestimated. If they showed us a real poll, politicians would have no choice but to support tax and regulation through out the country.
There has never been a case of cancer from marijuana use. If you drink alcohol, you are just a big hypocrite... considering it is more damaging to your body than marijuana is.
I have a job working 46 hours a week and own my own house thank you very much. Its obvious you have never tried herb, or your opinion would be different. I had that same attitude at one point also...
Look at how the question was phrased, these kinds of non-scientific polls always push agendas.
Do you support complete legalization of marijuana for any purpose? I wouldn't even support alcohol for complete legalization. When people talk about legalizing pot they understand it would be heavily regulated, prohibited from minors, no smoking and driving, don't be stoned in public, and so on. Maybe it's just me, but COMPLETE legalization seems a bit loaded.
thats bullshit, they did a live poll when they (CNBC) aired that weed special and i kid you not 97% favored legalization. I dont know where this poll came from but its surely bogus. Good thing all of america is not voting on it this fall, just cali.
I hate how the government ignores the people on this issue. Remember Obama's town hall. The topic of marijuana legalization was in almost every question and all he did was make a joke of it.
