Most covers don't really make me feel anything. This makes me feel something. As far as the look of the video, I don't really care. Moby's part was done well.
I wonder how many people realize why he did this strange fixation on the bleak looking adolescents. I'm sure many people scoff "emo" or something. But the point is this is a song about trying to make a start undoing the chains and delusions humanity puts on you. What a sad and lonely place it is when you realize everything's in freefall and you cannot trust anything at face value. And that even physical safety and security is slowly being taken from us...and that almost no one _can_ understand
@strangess13 The song kicks ass, but not anywhere close to the reasons you said. No wonder people think emo is a bunch of childish whining and pussy-fied little boys.
This is an awesome cover but it's marred by the fact that Moby can't fucking sing. Still though, he covered Burma and gave them a lot more well-deserved recognition, so.... a hero in my eyes nonetheless (sort of).
15 years old and sitting in my best friends house playing video games, now I'm 29 and I still play this song when playing video games. wow time does fly!
I remember telling a friend of mine that the video was awesome because it was like they made it about us. Kids, hanging out in grocery stores, Laundromats, and gas stations in the middle of the night.
good song lame ass video
