Mark Oh vs. John Davis - The Sparrows and the Nightingales

I also thought the combination of Mark 'Oh and John Davis on the album was pure genious at that time. Didn't think of myself as a potential Mark 'Oh "fan", but the fact that Mark 'Oh teamed up with a good vocalist like John on his album actually got me hooked. I think there are several good songs on the album, but "The Sparrows and the nightingales" cover was to me the best. I had access to MTV Germany at the time and had seen the Wolfsheim original, but this rendition is a thumper.

Wenn man das oroginal nicht kennt wie ich damals in meiner teeny-techno zeit war der song genial. Aber nachdem ich nun das original kenne muss ich mich auch für das cover schämen, naja das war ja nochmal nach jahren nen versuch wieder zu kohle zu kommen, ganz einfach. Die Zeit von marusha und mark'oh war ende der 90er vorbei.ende^^
