no were not all above the age of 22, were all in the band. were competitive. everyone is. were not feeding anything, were victims of it. i guess you didnt see the video from cyfair-hightower. thats our impression of you guys. white and bold. we do what we need to to get our players goin and our fans pumped. and if it comes to competition with the other band, were goin for it. we want in on the action. i loved it when that single trumpet would challenge us, just to back down. we enjoy it.
Thanks for letting me know you are on the band, Ttocs911. I thought you all were older. Make yourself a survivor of it, not a victim, k? Cy-Fair is not Cy-Ridge. Other Cy-Fair ISD schools are not mixed like Cy-Ridge. Believe me, we notice. Thanks, personally, for not using profanity, kid. You-Tube is the fastest way to get videos to my parents who live half the world away and they shouldn't have to see profanity to get a glimpse of their grandkids. Good Luck this weekend. Give a good fight.
Remember, Hightower, you have a very important game this coming weekend. Learn to be humble in your victory as you are in defeat. Hightower barely squeaked by Cy-Ridge, emphasis on "SQUEAKED" on a 2nd chance on the field goal. It could have gone either way. It was a great game, definitely the best game I was ever present at, even though we lost. Good luck on the next round. May the best team win.
Are you all sure you are 22-28 years of age? If you are, this is so sad. However, I seriously doubt that. Probably more like 14-18 years of age. That gives you a chance to mature.
These videos came from my camera. We also video taped your half-time performance. However, because your band director chose to face away the whole time, all that came out was the whistling of the wind. Sorry. As band parents, we respect all bands.
and just for the record, last time i checked football games were about rallying the team and the crowd, neither of whom care about tone, timing or tempo. We get crunk and thats what get the fans rallied. This isn't UIL. And ESPN is one of team's favorite songs. Apparently it worked. =]
I must say your side had a comapritively poor turnout for a 3rd round playoff game.
The previous night, the North Shore stands were SRO and they were turning people away. And they came all the way from Galena Park after work on a Friday night.
No need for profanity. I know how easy it is to be bold when you can hide behind your computer. Please show some dignity and respect for others when expressing yourself. Remember, You-Tube is worldwide and people ranging from 4 years old to 95 years old read this stuff. The net is a tool to bring people together, not to divide people. No wonder other countries think Americans are so vulgar. Some languages do not even have cuss words.
Shame on you. No wonder racism is still alive and doing well. You are feeding the very bigotry that you blame others for. I am not black or white, I am of a very unusual ethnic mix so I can not afford to be a bigot. It is honorable to be proud of your ethnic background but you are endorsing racism with your comments.
haha, You think the crowd honestly knows what that is? We are civil, you wouldnt know apparently because cy-prEES doesnt have a black population like mo city. we had deficiencies in the LITTLE things, but all in all we nailed the big things, and blew yall out.
Yeah, the cheerleaders cant spell very well. But if you had paid attention, you would have seen one of the more ethnically diverse student populations in the Houston area on the Ridge side of the field.
And my earlier comment was directed to someone else's profane response which I deleted earlier. Its a shame the option to bleep them out doesnt exist.
The less than civil incident displayed by Hightower was the worst I have ever experienced in the 40 years I've been watching sports. Not by Hightower band or players but by the fans. Unfortunately, the actions of the "guilty" group reflects on the whole school, just as your comments on You-Tube do. This coming weekend, should a North Shore athlete go down, I hope your fans display more dignity and class. Chanting "knock-out, knock-out"when an athlete is down is absolutely appalling.
We got a kick out of the "Cyprees" sign and took a lot of pictures of it. We don't take ourselves too seriously. When you turn 22-28 years old for real, you will see that this game is just a dot in the scheme of the real world. But if you carry your bigotry to that age, you will find that racism is huge in the scheme of the real world. Quit feeding racism.

There's no need to be profane.
Apparently Hightower fans are unable to express themselves in a civil manner.
A disagreement exists as to the relative merits of the bands present at the athletic competition.
While I must admit the Hightower band was the loudest band present, there were deficiencies in little things like tone, time, tempo.
And the ESPN thing is SOOOOO lame.
But good luck in the next round anyway.
