Thank you for taking interest in the Mayan Struggles of Guatemala. Discrimination is still apparent in Guatemala, it's like going back 50 years. Segregation is the rule of law in the outskirts, more human rights are needed. And, proper education is necessary in order to comprehend the culture. Reality is, divisions have been created by religion and ignorance. The strategy must be defeated in order to have peace and a relationship to the land. We must "Reckon" and "Deliver"...peace

@Mayanyancey It is interesting and I sincerely appreciate your interest. But there are many issues that are not exclusively from Guatemala. ¿Segregation? Why your native americans live in segregation and many african americans live in poverty? Aren't immigrant workers discriminated some times, just because of their hispanic origin? Aren't "patriot" paramilitary groups patrolling the US.Mexico border?

@Mayanyancey While the war escalated in active in Guatemala, US america was deeply involded in Vietnam, practicing a similar war...torture, what is Guantanamo and Abu Graib? Our conflict ended long time ago, what is going on in Afganisthan and Irak? I hope you do not understand wrong my comments, but we are all humans and every government is able to make mistakes and make others suffer...
