  • that piano is a shitty piece of crap

  • fabulous, fabelhaft, Чудесно, ، رائع ، رائع

  • When will you come to germany. I wish i could see this Quartet live. I like this music very very much. thank you for this vid

  • Красиво всё.

  • Браво! большое музыкальное произведение, и качество исполнения. Привет из хорватских

  • I got into this video just because I was curious of the strange name "Chizhik" and, to my delight, I like their style of music, which is like pop sound in a free jazz form. My only critics is that..... the pianist & guitarist & drummer didn't get to play their solo chorus......and the climax at 5:19-6:00 was a little heavy and classical and could be better harmonized w/ added rhythme or whatever....otherwise proves Russian can play sophisticated jazz too.

  • 8 people obviously dont like music...

...and I find it amusing that the bassist is the most unkept looking

  • Oh my god this piece is amazing.

I just don't like the fact that the vibraphone player is pushing down into the keys when he plays. He would get more sound and a better tone pulling up or at least coming off the keys a little bit.

  • @MidwestChopper9 Obviously you don't know the vibes's technique. The player is dampening the notes 'pushing down into the keys", in order to separate the sound and have a clear music to offer. His phrasing is excellent due to perfect dampening technique. These musicians are top level ! Very serious stuff.

  • Where can i find the music for this piece? i wanna play it so bad

  • Sounds beautiful! Thank you

  • i hate when players on vibes raise up their arms as if to accentuate that the note is being sustained. its obnoxious.

  • @wiliscool It's called drawing the sound out of the instrument >.>

  • @ThatDevilishOne The instrument has a pedal. The movement of your arm has nothing to do with the sound, aside form visually expressing that you intend for that note to be sustained. I just find it to be a silly superstition in my opinion.

  • @wiliscool The effect is psychological rather than concrete: of course, you want live performing musicians to act like they flow with music and not be stiff like metal bars. That makes them look like they're there to perform /music/ and not just hitting the right notes at the right time. It's not a superstition, it's called psychoacoustics.

  • @gwaur I know. But there are many great mallet players who dont do this. Gary burton, Nancy Zeltsman, etc. In my opinion, its just more effort.

  • very good job!!!! i like the combination between the slow and the quick part..

  • the beginning sounds like a jazzy chopin arrangement

  • Forgot to write that the music of composer Eugene Krylatov

  • Coool! I'm enjoying it a lot.

  • anyone knows the title of this song...? and who originally play this song?

  • If people were actually musically trained and could understand jazz....you guys would be making kanye west type cash lol

  • really amazing! great video! 5 stars

  • everything about this is amazing.

you should add "cuba linda" to the tag list - i searched for that a few months ago and would have loved to have found this then

  • The piano player has the same synthesizer keyboard I use. Oh, and the vibes are sick.
