the judge has to work fast in these cases so he/she does not read everything

you don't go to court, you don't see your kid

A very naive and blinkered view on what protest is, and why free nations allow it. These dads only protest as a last resort, because all civil methods have failed them. I have experience what it is like to live through a family divorce. The people here generalising father have NO CLUE. My mother was the violent alcoholic yet she kept the house, had custody and everything. She even tried to prevent access. Now I'm living with my dad due to her violence against me and he is getting only 2/3rds of the maintenance and was threatened with elgal action when I, of my own free will, refused to talk to her. My mother tried to stop me seeing my dad when she had custody of me. She would threaten me to make sure I didn't see him. I've witnessed first hand the injustice from the point of view of a child living through it. I know how my mother and dad are. Shows what you know. I'm a child and I've seen how this whole system works first hand. My mother is alcoholic, violent, abusive etc and my dad isn't. He was the one who had to leave the house. He had to move somewhere else. He had to pay £200 more maintenance and my mother got custody. 6 years after that happened i'm living with him due to her repeatedly attacking me. And you think these people just want the money? It is biased and unfair. It needs to be changed!

Well said. Anybody can be a mother but it takes a caring responsible adult who supports the childs rights to have both parents in their life, to be a GOOD MUM. The same can be said of fathers too, and not paying Child Support is only justified if it's by mutal agreement and shared care by both parents, or where the non-resident parent is being denied a relationship by an unfit primary carer who is abusing their position and power.
