@deepakbbc6022, I know a lot of Malayalis, Kannadigas and Telugu speaking friends who are devoted to Raja's music and Tamil songs. I understand your spirit, but please let's not forget that he is revered all over India by people who appreciate good music.
Ilayaraja is the god of music. his songs touch the soul and penetrate very deeply. amazing, awesome. mere words cannot describe the feelings and emotions kindled by his music.
Mohanam (pronounced Mōhanam, Sanskrit: मोहनम,Telugu: మోహన, Tamil: மோகனம்) is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is an audava rāgam (or owdava rāgam, meaning pentatonic scale). It is a janya rāgam (derived scale), as it does not have all the seven swaras (musical notes).
The equivalent of Mohanam in Hindustani music is Bhoop or Bhopali.
