im doing a rb25 neo swap on my s13 eventually and im going with the syko performance kit, premade driveshaft, and premade s13 rb25 harness my question is did you have to destroy the firewall for it too fit, or did it drop in like syko performance claims they can do, I also know everything i need, fmic, r33 crossmember, etc

hey man can you use a stock s13 5 speed trany with the stock rb25det or no im doing the same on my s13 vert

@italomopar unfortunately u cant use the s13 on rb25 but u can use it on rb20. but if u dont have the rb25 trany u can use the z32 one. seach on nico and ull find more info on that.

what kind of welder dig you use for the stich welding i have done it with mig flux core no gas but it didnt work aswell

@nissan240driver i used millermatic 140 and i used the shielded gas. don't do it with flux get gas and change the wire. also wat project u working on.

You guys are stupid. Hes building the car legit. Hes not gonna be driving the car on the street so stiffining up the chassis is a logical approach. it will be a lot stronger. And no Putting an RB25 in a 240 isnt that much work. Like he said it depends on how hardcore you want the car to be. it can be as simple as dropping the motor in with the correct mounts. upgrading the fuel filter and calling it a day.

but you've done much metal work. is it really necessary? you've changed the inner screens and much more what you see on film. it is perhaps the best I buy me a prius hehe

every one has their own way of building car some people love to take to next level and some fast and easy. with us we just want build a car that meet half way not to crazy not too simple and safe too. if you ask anybody building a car is lot of hard work involved

if it is DD you really don't need doing all the welding. but this car is not daily drive car. i am building a track car. the car isn't lowered.

it depends what route you take. if you do your own work like making the mounts and doing the wiring it'll take time as you send the harnes to someone do it and buy the mounts.

dude, the 240sx is the left hand rive non jdm car, the 180sx is right hand drive, looks teh smae but is japanese, and s13 is a term for both the 240sx/180sx and silvia second generation
