CS3 had more features than Elements 7. For example, you could edit photos in 16-bit instead of downgrading them. Elements is fine for most people but if you're a pro or even a serious hobbyist you'll want something more robust like CS or Lightroom.
Okay... it looks simple enough, but when I try it.. Like.. for example, I tried using the smart brush spray tan.. and it refuses to let me do anything. I mean it literally does NOTHING. Am I doing something wrong? I click smart brush, find spray tan, click that, (I think its under portrait) and try clicking on the picture, and nothing happens.. Its so dang frustrating!!!
It's there. Look on the left where all of your tools are. Move your cursor over the little icon of the brush with what looks like a cog wheel over it. If you hover over that icon, a pop up box says that it's the Smart Brush Tool. Right click the icon to choose between the smart brush and the detail smart brush.
The minimum system requirements are a computer with a 2.0 Ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM, Direct X 9 and a monitor with a 16-bit color video card. That's not terribly powerful by today's standards. You can make flyers in PSE7 but I would prefer to use Photoshop for that.
okay cheers mate, I mean I do most of my work by hand on paper first then I photograph it put it on computer & then I just need to do simple stuff like inserting a bands logo & moving it into position & stuff & maybe adjust the colour a bit, so would PSE7 be okay for that?
Yeah, that will work fine. You might consider scanning the document. Some Canon scanners use to come with Photoshop Elements, not really sure if they still do.
point in this video?

hi i have photoshop elements 7.0 and I don't have that tool. I don't have a brush with any looking wheel thing. Why is that?
mangoahgogo 2 years ago
You should have it. Every version of PSE7 that I've ever seen has it. Have you tried hovering your cursor over your tools to see their names?

I am shure that this videos is a fake. You coulnd´t make it with a tool like this!
gauden1310 3 years ago
It's a direct screen capture of the smart brush in action. Anyone with PSE7 can do the same thing.
ChicoEdge 3 years ago
where can i download this "smart brush" and how i use it
gauden1310 3 years ago
You don't need to download it. The Smart Brush tool comes with PSE7. It's on the left side of the screen with all of the other tools.
ChicoEdge 3 years ago
i cant find it!
Is it only in the Englisch Version or in the Gerrman to
gauden1310 3 years ago
