I know someone that had a 850 hp supra with stock internals . He did change the internals after 2 years becouse one of them blew up . Now it has over 1000 hp with racing internals :)
@gmpushrodpower With all due respect the 2JZ can handle 700rwhp,If you hang around supra guys who have the appropriate tunes there quite a few who have 600-700rwhp and beat the crap out of it and it lasts a while. an LS1 with stock internals at 700rwhp can hold and break the same if something is wrong with the tune.
If you want REAL power you dont have to get an LS1,you know what you do?you put a shitload of money into whatever motor you got and build it from inside out.

Good run. Suggestion - ARP head bolts, and why would you put all that money in such a nice ride, and top it off what a standard rubber radiator hose ? Aeroquip all the way.
@scfog90 I think he blew the head gasket, causing the pistons to pressurize the cooling system. Therefore breaking a radiator pipe. He was probably running the stock head gasket.
@chiodeguate1 Listen to the video before commenting...The head bolts stretched, blew the head gasket, pushed the probably 30+psi into the cooling system, where it wasn't designed for the pressure. So the blown engine, blew the coolant hose.

Once you've felt the acceleration of any bike over 750cc, you're never going to be feel the same about a 'fast' car unless you're driving some kind of Ariel Atom thing. A new Corvette ZR1 ($111K) can't match the acceleration (0-60 3.3 sec) of a '05 750 GSXR ($5k on Craigslist and 0-60 3.06 seconds).
I remember having my mind blown by the power of my first bike, a 55hp Virago. It out accelerated any car I've driven since, and I've since worked at a dealership with plenty of 'fast' cars.

@SomeoneRediculous You heard him, head bolts stretched, I dont know about you but this constitutes a rebuild was a coolant line and this car would blow sooner or later if you just threw a new hose on it. Blowby is not good and will happen when head bolts are stretched or installed incorrectly without locktite and proper torque specs. Pain in the ass man, I got my 3.2 L 911 motor all finished but forgot loctite on head bolts. Got blowby and spent the next week redoing what had taken me three days
@SomeoneRediculous ??...blown motors DO in fact run...i blew a hole out of the crank case when my third cylinder gave out in my honda accord and i drove it home..the hole was about the diameter of a baseball..it smoked chattered and clattered...but still got me all the way home...when i floored it, it revved to about 4k rpms and if i let of it would die...so i jus floored it all the way home..then it caught on fire in my driveway...and i put it out..

If you've ever had to rebuild a blown engine before, you would know the connecting rods usually go first, then a valve might break off if its a high revver. The block is cast iron and is not going to go until over 1000hp as long as its in good shape. But you gotta get new pistons, connecting rods, valves, valve springs, etc. Then you still have to do all the turbo stuff. Thats 15k+ and still can't beat a 13k bike. Cars are only great when its raining.

Bikes after a certain year are limited to like.. what 189mph anyway? I've never been on one going that fast, so I don't know for sure, but I think that's close to being right according to what I've heard
@LimitlessAeon619 European models are limited too 300kph and that's 186 MPH but its just an electronic limiter and easy to change with a chip or plug in interface, the bike will way outlast the over boosted supra.
You dont trash an engine just because the head lifts, and the car driving back normally proves that. Just stud the block, deck the head, new gasket and go back at it!

@tank5617 On trackdays in my 28 year old Triumph TR7 with 93hp at the wheels I overtake bikes, cars can corner faster than bikes in most cases although you are right about the straight line speed favouring bikes. But then again it all depends which bike vs which car, my friend rides an Aprillia something or other and i can out pull that thing on the motorway with ease in a 2.2 Vectra, so lets all relax and enjoy whatever we enjoy yeah? Once you've felt the acceleration of any bike over 750cc, you're never going to be feel the same about a 'fast' car unless you're driving some kind of Ariel Atom thing. A new Corvette ZR1 ($111K) can't match the acceleration (0-60 3.3 sec) of a '05 750 GSXR ($5k on Craigslist and 0-60 3.06 seconds).
I remember having my mind blown by the power of my first bike, a 55hp Virago. It out accelerated any car I've driven since, and I've since worked at a dealership with plenty of 'fast' cars.

@SomeoneRediculous thats funny becuase it was a radiator hose.. did you even watch the video ??? and yeah sometimes they do. i destroyed the top ring lands on 3 pistons on a turbo motor one time and i drove it home .. if it threw a rod out the side of a block it wouldnt run but thats not the only way to blow one up . and for your info if he had a intercooler hose that small it wouldnt outrun a stock 4g63 (mitsu engine) fyi. anti freeze rubs out of the hose also ,good job at looking like an idiot

@SomeoneRediculous You heard him, head bolts stretched, I dont know about you but this constitutes a rebuild was a coolant line and this car would blow sooner or later if you just threw a new hose on it. Blowby is not good and will happen when head bolts are stretched or installed incorrectly without locktite and proper torque specs. Pain in the ass man, I got my 3.2 L 911 motor all finished but forgot loctite on head bolts. Got blowby and spent the next week redoing what had taken me three days

@SomeoneRediculous ??...blown motors DO in fact run...i blew a hole out of the crank case when my third cylinder gave out in my honda accord and i drove it home..the hole was about the diameter of a baseball..it smoked chattered and clattered...but still got me all the way home...when i floored it, it revved to about 4k rpms and if i let of it would die...so i jus floored it all the way home..then it caught on fire in my driveway...and i put it out..

If you've ever had to rebuild a blown engine before, you would know the connecting rods usually go first, then a valve might break off if its a high revver. The block is cast iron and is not going to go until over 1000hp as long as its in good shape. But you gotta get new pistons, connecting rods, valves, valve springs, etc. Then you still have to do all the turbo stuff. Thats 15k+ and still can't beat a 13k bike. Cars are only great when its raining.

Or do you just say that cause its just an Import Straight 6 and not a Domestic V8? Where is your experince?

@tank5617 On trackdays in my 28 year old Triumph TR7 with 93hp at the wheels I overtake bikes, cars can corner faster than bikes in most cases although you are right about the straight line speed favouring bikes. But then again it all depends which bike vs which car, my friend rides an Aprillia something or other and i can out pull that thing on the motorway with ease in a 2.2 Vectra, so lets all relax and enjoy whatever we enjoy yeah? I would keep my mint 71 buick 455 rather then trade it for a supra or skyline. Even though my sr20dett is fun to play with they were made for chick's.
