hy guys look I have a problem I did what yu do in all these vids but I still havee a some kind of trojan or spyware although Avira found some I still have pop up and that X at the taskbar What should I do?? Use another Antivirus programe ??
i tried avira latest version and its updated but it can't detect the virus i have from my usb, its rvhost.exe and any other virus that duplicate the name of folder into exe. file virus, i getting rid off for this avira there's no detection at all, i get this virus from other pc infected, when i scan this virus from my pc that installed avira its nothing happen no detection at all, now my pc are infected with this virus.... but thanks to bitdefender antivirus 2010 was save my pc..
meh, i got the paid avg anti-virus, does its job just fine, my computer still running flawlessly after 1 year with several instances of viruses being downloaded, while avg promptly cleans right after without any difficulty,
i hope u can test PREMIUM AVIRA coz this video (avira free) is better then any antivirus free and paid in the market today...
one more question pls matt.....why PC TOOLS company doesnt want to compete in any testing av centers for there products? so that people will see what is the best or top antivirus in the market...

avira is very good but you still are better off trying this unless you are a pro like this guy as you can see his computer is still running badly because of importaint deleted files watch the typing and the sound of the typing the letters go in after he types them in it isn't real time...
actually the sound of the typing is off sync because the the compression software. Every now and then (especially windows movie maker)the way audio and visual components become out of sync.
Avira says the free version doesn't detect spyware/adware... you could try a trial of the premium where you work, it performs alot better and update it better

You should put that on your pc with the other spyware you put on on it. it turns your pc screen blue and has message on it saying warning spyware detected . then the trojan in the program puts bugs all over the wall paper they look like roaches . No not kidding you this mrizo dude. did a redo of nod32 and it got out alot of the spyware it left behind the first time around. which means some thing wasnt checked in the first video . and about the eicar virus text file yes im not a liar it can not detect it . it can detect the other files but it cant detect the txt file . From my experience I can tell that Avira often fails to remove malware(even pretty simple ones), and is really terrible at rootkits. I've also seen that sometimes it passes 4-5 days without updating. The worst thing, Lacks a self protecting function(Actually has one but it's almost useless), and malware can easily damage it and prevent it from updating, protecting or even running. How can you expect an antivirus to protect you while it cannot protect itself? Definitely not at the level of Kav.
your right antivir hss high detection rates but its not as effective as kaspersky v8-its the boss. update is not as fast as kav. self defense is not as tough as kav. it lacks few important improvements but for the free version its awesome but i got kav. :D:D

And what was causing these (and other) problems on my system? A bad stick of RAM. Yep, soon as I removed that all was well. For other people, they may have conflicts or Windows issues making these things happen. Kaspersky is also very good (I used to use it myself) but for a free product, I think AntiVir is tops.
For a free product it may be good, but when compared to commercial products, nothing can beat KIS. It's just the best. The only other worth using is F-Secure

I've used both programs in the field for a few years...KAV has always proved itself to be my favorite. Avast has a great boot-time scanner that I use when I first get my hands on the clients PC, then I'll follow up with a permanent install of KAV or Spyware Doctor with AV.
You can also clean a messed up computer using AntiVir without even booting into Windows. They have a Rescue CD (search it on Google) which is updated every day - it burns a CD image with Linux and may help to clean up even the most stubborn bugs because Windows doesn't need to be loaded to use the program's cleanup function. ^_^

I have avira antivir 8 free and love it. It is able to keep my computer completely clean and it does not weigh your computer down at all. For a free antivirus it is better than most of the free ones and definitely better than AVG 8 and all of the other ones. If you want a great antivirus from GERMANY, which is also awesome, then get AVIRA ANTIVIR, you wont regret it.
I hope to see maybe next or whenever soon review of Webroot Antivirus. since spyaweeper is probably the king of removeing spyware (with Spyware Doctor) it would be really nice to see him how he does the job in that part..

Good to see how powerfully the program cleans up a bad PC (mine was clean, but I want good realtime protection too.) Also, to clean up those spyware/adware type infections many people recommend SuperAntiSpyware. I don't need it (yet) but it might be good for your cleanup jobs and it's free too.
I have tried dozens of AV programs and believe Anivir is the best. Quarterly testing by av-comparatives shows that Antivir consistently has the highest detection rate. I don't get why AVG is more popular.

1. I only use safe mode when an antivirus application can't clean malware in normal mode
2. The Nod32 scanner crashes in safemode...so...nuff said there.

I have avira antivir 8 free and love it. It is able to keep my computer completely clean and it does not weigh your computer down at all. For a free antivirus it is better than most of the free ones and definitely better than AVG 8 and all of the other ones.
