People don't realize haw great Chieli and his band mates are. I loved the early syncopation flavor of the mid to late 80s band

I had the great pleasure of seeing Special EFX at their very first concert on the west coast at the Berkley Amphitheater in 1984. They opened for Jean-Luc Ponty. I've been a fan ever since then!
