This song was originally sung by an Australian by the name of Lucky Starr long before Johnny Cash or Hank Snow sang it, it was sung about Australian towns & cities when the Americans decided it was a great song just changed the towns to suit American towns & cities. As a music fan in general I do like the other versions, but as an Aussie I prefer Lucky's version & the beat is faster than this one as well.
