Great video(s), especially at 3.42! I passed my bike test rather late in life 18 months ago on a cbf600 sa9 and then bought one as I knew the bike. It is a good starter bike, commuter etc. But I am now keen to progress to to bigger bike. I am 1.8m tall and 100kg for those asking about size and height. Also seat adjustment is easy so should be good for those short in the leg. PS amused to discover you driving up and down the roads on was using, before we left the area 2 years ago. Ade
@GSXRICHY lol cheers man very nice of ya to say! Yeah, I'm not subscribed to them any more. Just to many bad videos in a row. Anyway, thanks for the support man!
hello iam 1.70 and 70kilos and i've never ride a bike before,if i do driving lessons can i buy it for first bike?i have a friend whos first bike was a fazer 600cc.
Nice review mate, and agreed, its a good bike, my dad's got the 1,000 version, which fuckin shifts, I just got an SV650, restricted to 33break, still goes orite though lol
Really liked your video. I own a CBF600, the naked version, looks alot better than the faired version. Its a good comfy bike, you wont be numb after long trips.
@scott88060 Na man, it should be fine. Its low to the ground but the riding position is confinable (apart from the old seat i was on) and real spacious. I would advise you ride the bad boy first though before money changes hands. My brother always wanted a CBR600RR, went for a test drive and it was far too small! so make sure you test ride! :D
The engine is from the 1998 CBR600F3 (at least in my bike). Also, the power does start pouring on around 7.5k on the CB600F. 0-60 is a bit quicker too.
Gotta be careful about dropping the clutch. Without the MotoGP traction control, the bike is so easy to loop.
The 2006 600 Hornet was the last hornet in the States :-(. And we don't get the CB1000R either. :-( :-(
@DANCBR1 I know! You have no idea how pissed off at Honda I am.
OK, to be fair, my CB600F still can put down more torque than I can easily handle launching straight into a hard turn. But it's the principle of the matter.
Apparently the Z1000 is not a big seller here. That's what the CB1000R would be competing with. I don't know why naked bikes aren't more popular here.
Man I started to laugh when the caption came up about people fucking up the take off on the starting grid. Lovely stuff, I like the CBF not a looker but it could be worse. Like I said in the last video, it would make a great 600 for a beginner. Nice review mate, on with the next one ... ;-)
Need higher revs for those 0-60s, easy under 4 secs love! Probably has a cbr600 engine that's been de-tuned. Brilliant review, MCN eat your hearts out!
Nice review! Farking Brilliant! :D I'm thinking about getting this bike or the Yamaha FZ6. What do you reckon?

@Fudmottin Really!? That’s crap. The CB1000R is a BEAST! Just think of it, fireblade engine retuned for low to mid torque. It’s a wheelie machine!
