@WhatThePresidentSays Yes only smart people use Macs.Speaking of grammar? You are suppose to capital the first letter of every sentence you lush. Also you misspelled the word doesn't,lol, loser.
@WestcoastMusicals yes i should know, we have 4 of them. 1 Macbook , 1 Powerbook G4 and 2 15 inch Macbook pros. and what am i using? A PC. and i still have proven my point (above) that those macs doesn't enhance your knowledge it just makes you a FAG owning a 1995 (older than me) mac. PS winning an argument with a 14 year old doesn't make you smart.
that would be weird, people dying around you, necromorphs eating people and running around the window infront of you and issac moaning you to help him
@daveman247 Its a famous image that was discovered years ago on the surface of mars..... its some land or rock formation that happens to look eerily like a face....
I find this table a little dull, and as with the other tables in Zen a bit busy. The instructions are f*cking useless too so don't expect to know what the hell is going on sometimes. Building high scores in this game is a chore.
Just because it looks and sounds nice doesn't mean it's fun.
Good review, looks good as a game but the ideas and space concepts as well as the refueling are stolen off that crappy pinball you used to get on windows.
Very Nice game all ok except f**** shadow on the ball and floating points its make game less realistic, less similar to original fliper:/ F* that (pseudo-modern) idea :(
I love it when you get multi ball and zero gravity happens. It's awesome watching your balls float every where....yeah that sounds funny. You'd have to see it to understand what I'm saying.
For 360 players... don't worry, we aren't going to miss out on this table, luckily.
Pinball FX 2 is on its way, which Zen will say will at (the very least) bring the game up to parity with Zen Pinball. Hopefully we won't have to buy all the tables again though! And let's hope version 2 won't be too expensive.
The Mars table will be available for Pinball FX 2, expected in the northern hemisphere's Spring.
(Doomguy walks over to the table and looks down) "What the Hell?" (picks up ball and throws into space and walks off) Doom pinball. Now that would make a great game.
I have Pinball FX for the Xbox 360 & although I'm not that keen on this unrealistic table, I'd still like to know if they have this, or any other new table planned for the Xbox 360 version. Zen make amazing pinball tables/simulators.
0:25 "...don't need a trip to recall to visit mars..." ??? I get the reference, but that makes no sense. Where is this Recall place and why should I not go there?
Like the Star Trek crack, thought Janway was a Captain (they almost never actually fly the ship) and I dont think Dr. Crusher knew how to pilot a shuttlecraft let alone the Enterprise. ..... Yes I am that much of a geek to point this out.
The ball is actually an android replicant sent to Mars to destroy his own kind, and this startling fact will be revealed in the Greatest Hits' Game of the Year Edition of the Mars pinball table.
@potsy5656 No unfortunately, it was a reference to Red Faction, made by the same people who made Saints Row. He needs to review that since it's a better GTA
@Jacko459 I forgot saints row made you play real life simulator after every mission and forgot what fun was to be more realistic and gritty...Though wait that was GTA IV, gasp GTA IV is worse than saints row! :P But seriously I lost interest in GTA IV after beating it. I don't want to hangout with my gang members, I want to go on rampages and whatever. Not get 50 calls from roman wanting to go bowling.
@STERNrogering Volition's symbol is actually a real picture that was taken above Mars. It is famous because it's only a picture of a mountain. Just go on Google and type "Mars face".
@BertrandArne Yes there are hardcore Pinball fans, but do to Pinball being near extinct and most of em are adults as machines are extremely expensive they are more like Pinball enthusiasts. Since there are gamers who collect arcade cabinets why not Pinball? which IMO are far cooler than any arcade machine except for perhaps Tron even though the games in Tron suck.
Actually, Capt. Katherine Janeway commanded the Intrepid-class starship USS Voyager. Dr. Beverly Crusher was the CMO of both the Galaxy-class starship USS Enterprise-D and Sovereign-class starship USS Enterprise-E.
@megamanfan3 Funny I was going to post the name of her ship. : shrugs: Was just pointing out that she was a captain (kinda) within the TNG timeline, even if it was an alternate future.
This and Ninja Gaiden are my favorite DLC tables for Zen Pinball. The Final Pyramid mission seems to be the most difficult one on this table so far. And that's because you have to hit those M-A-R-S letters on the left (and few targets on the right) while juggling with 2 or 3 balls.
There are no targets, really. Just ramps. Ramps are flashy but don't add much except transporting the ball around. What happened to drop targets and all that? Those are more fun to hit than just a few ramps. I still like good old Space Cadet. I don't think it gets nearly enough credit, probably because it's so ubiquitous.
How can anyone enjoy playing pinball games on a console??? It doesn't matter how flashy or fluid the game is ... its PINBALL!!! giving up cigarettes is more enjoyable than pinball
I could never understand why people liked the sonic spinball games back in the early 90s, and I still don't understand why people like pinball games today
@MojoSmelz No, I did indeed mean Blade Runner and there are a couple of references. "Sea Beams" and "tears in the rain" are both quotes from Rutger Hauers improvised speech at the end of the final cut.
