I am now corresponding with Gordon Brown, on each ME person receiving tailor made treatment for each individual, and more research.

I even ended up in the local rag this week over it.

Good for you Miriam. Gordon Brown's answer is pathetic. I have had ME for six years and I have not been offered any treatment, even if I would have refused GET and CBT. I have not been referred to any clinician and, because I live in Wales and healthcare is devolved to the Welsh Assembly Government, my MP won't even speak up for me at Westminster but refers my letters back to the Welsh Minister for Health. We are on our third Minister in six years and they do nothing either.

Good idea and good questions although the volume is very low so I had to make a big effort to hear. About Gordon Brown's reply: The 8.5 million has gone into palliative care not into research. I hope future money will go where it would be really useful - biomedical research - rather than just programs to make ME sufferers feel better about being ill.
