This boss was inspired by the video game Sinistar. Some of the boss lines. The Anger phase is lead by "beware I live!" and if you wipe "beware cowards" which is a take on the "run cowards" from Sinistar. The encounter is also basically just a DPS race in 3 different ways. Kind of a idiot filter for Illidan.

There's not much lore on really anything in BT except for Illidan himself. Illidan was an elite nightelf, brother of Malfurion Stormrage. He was corrupted by an addiction to magic when the elves began to harvest the Well of Eternity's powers out of curiosity and lust. Illidan eventually betrayed his brother and his entire race in order to satisfy his addiction. He was exiled and now he's here xD

After the nerf this boss is verry basic

phase one all 3 tanks must survive, if any dies use your druids combat ress and bring them back (tanks must be all alive for phase two)

phase two...really simple just dps hard if your Hp is in 60 70% stop dps till you get a heal(dance, smoke...whatever lol)

Phase 3...Just Nuke him but in any circunstance overagro the tanks or you die :) really simple after the nerf, just do this and dont think on anything else and you get him easy

u dont need UI mods for raiding, just the most important (omen, deadly boss mods/Big wigs, Decursive, maybe grid) and those are about it. any other addon is just for looks

skills? its pressing buttons dude. and addons dont necessarily negate the ability to do this. someone who uses lots of addons isnt necessarily a bad player.

the only raid addons i actually use are omen and dbm.

i use lots of addons because im a mage and i have lots of different moves, and then food, water, pots mount etc so i pretty much have to use bongos otherwise its VERY easy to misclick. I have all my important raiding spell in the middle and everything non-important on the side(mount, macros etc.)

I do need these mods so i can have minimal wait time in between abiltities and maxamize DPS

ya, you really need to get out of each phase as soon as you can, need to get out of the first phase cause you cant heal, need to get out of the second phase asap cause of the drain max mana, and you need to get out of the third phase ASAP cause the dot fucks you up towards the end
