most of the pieces in this game have the same theme, with a waltz variation for swimming, minor modes for both the ghost house and castle (Which is great), ragtime for athletic levels, bluegrass for the overworld, and very primitive for the cave levels with a low ostinato.

@jucaroitc Yeah its both in C minor key and I think in 4ths, Its almost identical except for Beethoven adds the random C# in on the 2nd, here its on the 3rd and returns into D, Beethoven adds the transition into a more lighter part for dynamic as here goes straight to harsh dark diminished arpeggios epic win.

Anyway, that doesn't matter much. This is one of Koji Kondo's greatest compositions, so I should just sit here and enjoy it. I somehow like how it goes from the original suspenseful theme to a bit of hectic theme that will not revert back... And it's perfect for leading up to the boss of each castle, too.
