I use my audio interface to plug in my mics to record vocals and instruments like real guitars, and my studio monitors are connected to my interface, alot of interfaces come with a soundcard as well which well help improve your sound quality...

Thx Mpd, I use another program called Sonar, and Reason comes with an app called Rewire, Rewire lets me use Reason inside of Sonar...So I can use Reason and Sonar together, hence im able to combine VST's from Sonar with the sounds from Reason...

Yes you really should, hopefully they will be even more affordable than now. At the moment they over price a bit. But having a Mac is the best switch I have ever made. I have a Mac Pro 8 core. So powerful. I never run into problems because osx does not have bugs that cause conflicts like pcs would.
So, you use Reason 4 or was it sonar? Have you tried Ableton live? Do you know of it or have you tried it.
Mayne I love Sonar...its sick, my boy Kold Red Symphony led me to it, Ive messed around with protools, I got homies dat use protools, my boy Bosston records most of his vocals on protools.
Cool. By the way, the only way you will see the power of protools is if you use it for a few years and learn about it in depth. You won't appreciate it if you just try it a few times here and there. It is a professional tool, hence its name. You really should give it a try. Another great software is Logic. That is up there with protools.

Who ever told you reason was not professional is a DAMN fool. They might have tried it and didn't know what they were doing. Reason allows you to wire up the back of the racks in near an infinite number of ways to create your own effect. The synths are very close to analog synths though I do perfer analog synths. Yeah logic is great. It is great cause the options are tremendous not cause the sound it produces. The qaulity of sound is determined by the hardware you and ofcourse how you engineer
I don't think there is a version of Logic for pc. You use a pc? You should really switch. They are horrible. So unstable. If you don't have the funds to purchase a mac at the moment, you can just keep your pc but change the operating system to OSX. All you have to do is reformat and remove XP and then put OSX.
I love my pc mayne, its only used for music, I've never used it for internet access, runs fast and has never crashed on me, not even once, mac's prices have gone down alot and they are nice, I hope to get one later on down the road.
